Very limited quantities, guessing it's UTC+10, best of luck to you guys on the east coast

    • +2

Think of this as more competition than sale

  • -4

The LG Monitor is pretty much the only thing on sale.

    • +2

I hope they aren't using the same servers as click frenzy!

      • LOL

    • +2

The LG monitor is probably the only thing NOT on sale. Pretty average price for a 21/22" monitor.

centrecom - 23 inch for $99 on boxing day sale

      • +1

Postage is a bit of a downer from Centrecom.

        • I agree, centrecom sticker prices always beat pccasegear but pccasegear is almost always cheaper after postage is accounted for in general.

  • +2

Every deal have limited stock on them shown on this page as well as our website. Total of 300 items

    • Quantity limit per person?

  • +1

I have never brought from these guys before, do they offer express shipping and also ship promptly? Going overseas Jan 1

    • Bought quite a few things off them, no hassle. Pretty prompt. But u are really cutting it close with Jan 1

    • they using eparcel, unless you are in Metro Sydney, otherwise almost impossible to get it before new year.

    • Used them twice recently and both items were sent promptly.

  • +1

Im keen on the Samsung 27' monitors , think they retail usually around 420-450 each. imo they look like a steal

    • +5

Try this one Robbo - http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=607160

or something like MacBookPro with retina

        • +2

          crapbookpro you mean!

        • I think he's looking for a cheap device. I find Mac are probably more reliable in that they have about 1/2 the downtime of PCs but they are 3-4times more expensive. It really comes down to how much you value your own time.

        • How is that even relevant? The topic was good bang-for-buck monitors, not extremely expensive and over-hyped laptops.

    • Seem like a good deal … will this work ok as a secondary monitor to a Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop?

    • -2

      resolution is crap on em:(

  • +3

"Iomega 3TB Network Storage Drive $139 QTY: 20 Start 10:00 am - 12:00 am" (as per above and on website).

I thought the specials were for two hours each. Why is this one for 14 hours? :-)

    • I'll bet a typo, 12am should likely read 12pm

      • +1

Oh no, I think you made that comment seriously.

        • Ahaha the Internet is serious business.

  • Probably a typo, 12am should read PM I'll bet

    • +4

Sorry bleugh I missed that, what did you say?

      • It does say starts at midnight sharp though

  • +2

    $15 shipping on the mousepad… Think I'll pass…

Get ready for a Massive Boxing Day from us. Starting from Midnight December 25th AEDT, 1 deal will be featured in every 2 hours on our Homepage Banner.

please don't try to play the game with US. Not that massive sale as you would like US to think.
No better place than staying in bed at midnight.

    • Wow, get a shitty present for Xmas? Might explain your anger?

    • You've got satan and santa mixed up again.

    • LOL

Wish I was getting a BJ from Alexis right now…

  • +4

At least he is showing the quantities for each item unlike fail of the day.

  • +2

Not liking this 'time of the day deal'. Reminds me of Catch of the Day…

Happy that you have put quantities for each item but why not just put them all up for sale at a particular time? Just a n00b marketing move to get more people the visit the site.

    • If you click on the OP user profile, you will realise who is the n00b.

  • is the HP laptop any good? anyone can comment?

    • Same question. Seems like a decent price for a student laptop - $260 delivered….

      • bought one anyway, will give it to parents, should be ok for daily use, may add additional ram, which is also cheap nowadays.

  • Where is the buy button? Looks like there is no way to actually get this deal!

    • add to cart… facepalm
but i guess it sold out for now

    • sold out, it lasted for about 10 minutes

  • +1

It doesn't actually say sold out. The buy button is not there. Weird!

  • 4-6am, netgear powerline.

  • The site seems to be loading alright at the moment.

  • +1

Wonder when the N40L will be on 'sale' - not that it's really much cheaper than previous sales.

  • +1

sale items arent updating for me, i dunno whats being sold..

    • Are you actually going to the main page or the link to the Boxing Day Sale information page on here?

The sale item should be on the banner on the main page.

  • friggin Rubbish! logged in but CANNOT put items into shopping Cart! what a scam!!!

  • I tried hard to get the 3TB NAS at 10am but there was no add to cart link. Moments ago it dawned on me that this was because I forgot about f*cking daylight saving. It would have been all over one hour before!

    • Yep the Add to Cart option goes when they're sold out.

      • toshiba l850 i7 $599 available now

  • Picked up one.. Good enough price. :)

  • Missed out on the N40. Bah!

  • +2

Waited all effing day for the N40L, had to duck out, come home and it's gone. Why didn't you at least advertise the time these were going on sale? :(

    • +2

this is very negligent on their part. They dont bother updating the deal here, they dont even bother updating their website.

  • Missed the N40L as well :(

  • +1

This sale fail so hard. There is no update anywhere.
The mouse pad is 1c but the postage is $8.75
I bought the something before so i ask the rep if it is possible for a combine postage, no respond. Now its too late.

    • $8.75 ……. .. total bargain! It was $14.15 for me so I passed on that one. Same postage price for a N40L.

  • Thinkpad tab is on.36 mins past 8pm,still not sold out:)

  • +3

    What a fucking joke …

serious mind fuck with this one …

I had no idea when items were going to go on sale, no way was i going to sit for 24 hrs hitting F5 on 3 separate pages.

Would have been nice to pick up a N40L .. instead I'll just avoid buying from in future …

Marketing ploy gone just wrong ….

  • +3

Very disappointed in Shopping Express. Very tacky promotion… You have a lot of good reputation from your previous sales. This sale is just WTF? Please don't be like Catch of the Day. If your going to have a sale, just have a sale not this time of day BS.

Okay, received the el cheapo lappie and we have a problem!

It has a Celeron processor which I absolutely despise. The website though promised "HP 650 Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz" as seen on the link.

    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/hp-650-intel-1.8ghz-15…

This'll be a test for the customer service acumen and how serious they are as an aspiring successful online retailer. I'm hoping I won't need to have Australian Consumer Law (ACL) enacted to address my grievance.

    GRRRRRRRRR……..

    • The Celeron processor was listed in the specifications.

      • Core 2 Duo and Celeron are not the same dude. Just noted the discrepancy where the description does not match the specification. I only read the description and purchased based on the processor NOT being a Celeron.

        • Core 2 Duo and Celeron are not the same dude

Can you please point out to me where I asserted any different?

Just noted the discrepancy where the description does not match the specification. I only read the description and purchased based on the processor NOT being a Celeron.

Yes there is a discrepancy; one you should have noted before buying - ShoppingExpress aren't completely to blame here.

And just so you know, the Celeron B830 is Sandy Bridge, and was released this year. Fairly comparable to the ancient Core 2 Duo, so I don't why you have an issue with it. You were happy with the specs, until the word 'Celeron' was introduced.
