  They send you ads ever so often when you open the program, I downloaded it last time, it's also more like a standard version of their program missing features, not worth installing

  Works fine, downloaded and activated. Don't know what ads marchi is talking about, as I haven't been getting any (except an option to go premium when you close the program for the first time).

  Frankly I can't tell any difference between Ashampoo Burning Studio 2012 and 2013. They have exactly the same UI and features. Maybe some improvements under the hood?

  I tried this software once. Didn't work for me. It burned coasters 80% of the time.

  ive been using the 2012 version for awhile now after weening off Nero and other 3rd party programs and ive never looked back, downloaded installed and still going great.

  btw the programs doesnt makes the coasters, other factors come into it as well. I bet you are buying poor dvds like ritek and princo ? ive been using verbatims, LG, phillips.. all burn fine, no problems at all.

  it also heaps to have a decent pc too.

    Nope. I do exactly the same as I do in Nero, but Nero copies work, Ashampoo doesn't. Same computer, same disks, same projects. They work with Nero, with Ashampoo I get coasters. It's the software, not my gear.

        Also, my PC is new. But even my old, and old old PCs didn't burn coasters with Nero. And Nero is more resource intensive than Ashampoo, so I'm kind of surprised by that.

        Was hoping this could replace Nero, but when all I got was coasters, something was wrong. Maybe it just doesn't like my hardware, but Nero has no problem with it.

  I've been using Ashampoo Burning Elements and from a quick glance from both programs on their website, I can't seem to find the difference between them. The UI and features also look the same.
