  • Godfrey's have a dog&cat bagless with powerhead for $99 on sale and the ZEN with powerhead for $299 (without powerhead for $199 which is awesome value) too…

      sold out

and the head is too big, it won't fit in some narrow spaces.

      (that's what she said)

Amazing price, gotta be a pricing error surely!

  • Got the bagged version of this vac about 3 years ago, great vac, rubbish powerhead. Had it replaced once under warranty, then had to replace again. When it went again I'd had enuff. The powerhead is more than half the price of this vac. In the end gave up and bought a dyson, which is so plasticky I can't see it lasting long either

  • Thanks OP, I have been looking at a few different vacs in the past few weeks as there has been so many good deals posted here lately.
This is really a no-brainer at this price

  • what are the pros and cons of each type of vacuum style?

What is a good model or brand?

  • Reviews are terrible http://www.productreview.com.au/p/electrolux-ultraactive/3.h…

Im thinking about getting the dyson dc29 from amazon italy for about 330 aud delivered.

    • Thx for heads up. How much is their shipping?

  • We've got this model at home. It's been good for us. One thing to be aware of - there's two sponge filters. One at the top, and at the back near where the waste cartridge empties out (easy to miss). If you don't rinse both regularly, it will cause overheating and it will conk out.

  • I think they fixed their pricing. When I checked out this morning, their website was down and when its up again, the price was shown at $483.

  • I know this has expired, but I would NOT recommend this vacuum to anyone, regardless of price. It SUCKS, big time, and not in a way that a vacuum should suck.

I have owned this for about six weeks and am returning it as 'not fit for intended purpose':
    - with the power head attached it doesn't have any suction (see for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKM3wGzoW38)
    - the power level controls respond poorly
    - the attachments fall off at the slightest touch
    - the power head regularly stops working and wont start
    - the handle is amazingly uncomfortable
    - the cord retractor is weak… I could go on, but I won't.

I even contacted Electrolux to give them a chance to fix the problems, I didn't even get a response, and that was four weeks ago.

Can I repeat that I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
