Nokia C2-01 + Remote Controlled Car $11.80 at Big W
This was posted 5 months 19 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Just saw this at Forest Hill Big W. There were two available. I bought one. Not sure if other stores have stock but I thought I'd post in case any of you were in the market for a cheap phone or remote controlled car AND were near a Big W.

+5 votesThis is a leftover from the Voda sponsorship deal in V8 Supercars. Actually it is a leftover from 2011, when the team's backing switched from Nokia to Samsung. The whole team — drivers, mechanics, PR, everyone — had to hand in their Nokias at the start of the season.
My son has the same phone, loves it and will not swap it for a newer, smarter phone.
Voda unlocks phones easily, so it looks like a reasonable price
What does PR stand for?
To unlock vodafone, you can do that online (Free or $25) I think theres a free way though not sure.
https://unlock.vodafone.com.au/voila/handsetunlock/self-serv...Hard-locked - the device is locked to the Vodafone network and may require a fee to unlock
Soft-locked - the device is locked to the Vodafone network and is free to unlockSomeone can clarify this cause i'm not sure which one this one is but I'm guessing its soft-locked as most vodafone ones are.

the few phones I've tried on Vodafail's site were freely unlocked, but if it's locked to another network you may be out of luck — I think VF has slashed it's fees because of customer complaints and as some sort of competition for a slice of prepaid pie, in reality once people google online for an unlock code, they are likely to find a million alternatives sites that offer unlocking for $1<10, or even for free, eg. http://www.unlockitfree.com which may be useful for non-VF phones.

+2 votesGood RC car in my opinion. Comes with two sets of wheels. A hard set for "drifting" and a regular soft rubber set for racing.
The antenna is internal, when you lift the body you see a spiral inside.
Comes with lights and everything. Pretty cool.
Considering that cheap RC cars cost $10-20, a phone / RC car combo for $11.80 is a bargain IMHO. ;)

I am in no way suggesting you should do that to see how funny it is, just because you chase the cat around with a rc car.
Not a fan of cats. It was the only time I ever "felt good" watching one.

shiremarco123 on 02/01/2013 - 20:28 ¶thanks for the posting, checked winston hill, never had stock, then called customer service, the lady can't find anything in the system, then tried Menai on way home, and cha-ching, there is one in kept in the cabin, the nice guy helped me to scan and came up 11.80, he doesn't even know it's on such a good price, so grabbed it and run in a jiffy, lol(not quite, but almost).
