    Thanks for posting this, for some reason I never get their email for this despite signing up for it, so I rely on someone posting the code here. Completely forgot it was that time of the month already!

      I used to have the same issue - I kept signing up using different email addresses (that all point to the same account) but never got the emails. Now it seems to have fixed itself and I get lots of emails, one for each email address I tried signing up with (around 5 or 6 of them) :P

    Thanks for posting this. Since oovie/hoyts kiosk no longer makes their facebook page available to the public, this is the only place I can get the wednesday code.

      We used one when we were in Qld, the transaction didn't work but the idea was handy. Our local video store closed down recently and one of these would be awesome.

      I always do that too :) and for some reason I always get people who have never used the machine watching me get movies on freebie Wednesday then they ask me questions about it so I introduce them to it

    Hay I am new to this. How do I enter the promo code at the machine?

      Select the movie you want, hit "rent". It will tell you it costs $3.50 but below that it will say "enter promo code". You must enter the promo code before you swipe your credit card otherwise it'll be too late to get it for free. Make sure you return the movie by 9pm the next night to avoid any overdue fees.

      Code can be used once per credit card. So if you have multiple cards you can.

      Yeah you have to swipe a card to rent it. Haven't tried using the code from the same card and code twice, but have used different cards.

      I love French movies and I love Jean Reno especially but I was very disappointed by this movie. It wasn't as laugh out loud funny as I thought it would be, only in one scene. But everyone's taste's are different so definitely give it a go when it's available.

      January's one didn't get posted until 2nd Jan (first Wednesday of the month). I suspect the February code won't get posted until 6th Feb.
