  • How did you get $22.49? Pity i already own 90% of them, I have had this in my cart since the sale started as i might buy it for the couple i have not got.

    • Yeah title is wrong? A lot of them were in the THQ Humble Bundle which was $6-7.

Have a look at this comment by SrMoure about Amazon publisher bundles (eg THQ medly) which include multiple games with individual Steam keys, might be able to get the ones your are missing and spending less.

    • sorry i just corrected the title.

  • If only I didn't already own most of them… Good deal.

  • Dont you mean $24.99?

  • Aw man, just got the Titan Quest bundle not long ago in a Steam sale, wish I had waited for this one!

Is it just me or is Steam altering the discounts on some deals? More than once I've seen a flash sale item go from 75% off to 50% off to 66% off (actual example is for the currently on sale Dead Island)

    • They definitely are. I voted for 75% off CS:GO in the community choice poll then CS:GO went on sale for 75% off for only a couple of hours (like 3hrs instead of the regular 12) then they reduced the discount down to 50% which is the price it's been the entire sale anyway..

      • ***50% and 25% sorry, not 75% and 50%.

    • -1

Reason for that is, they have the daily specials that last for 48 hours, but they also have the flash sales, as well as the Community Choice sale (at the moment it's Serious Sam 3 BFE for $6! 85% off!)

    • -4

On some of the sales it does actually show that it will range from eg. 50% to 75% during it's flash or voting sale, and even on the daily deals. The discount under the game title will look like "50~75%". So it ends up ranging between that.

I thought that was for when a franchise was on sale and the individual games within it had varying discounts.

no DLCs at all, so you may pay more on them.

  • just bought this - awesome deal

  • Any guys who bought the Humble Bundle getting this? For the casual gamer would you shell out dosh for the extra games?

So not really that much of an overlap, $25 seems like a pretty good deal. I personally will not be getting this bundle (despite the great value) because I have a few of the titles on PS3. Was only interested in MX vs. ATV and it got pretty average reviews.

      • I'm interested in Darksiders II which is on steam for the same price as the entire bundle. Making it extremely tempting, even though I'll barely touch the other games. Sheer value.

Hasn't it been this price for the whole steam sale?

I'd thought so. I remember a few years ago when I bought the pack a week or two before the sales, spent $100 on it when I could have gotten it for $50. Now, with even more games and it's $25. Damn it :-P

    • It has been sitting in my cart since the sale started at this price, it was posted when the steam sale started.

  • Yeah and I swear it originally included the dlc's, was going to buy it the first day as it had like 49 items, but saw it was until the 6th so I waited till I got paid, 3 days later it was 22 items so either im going nuts or its so they can make more money as they know a lot of people want the dlc so I passed.

The 2 things I wanted DoW complete and Space Marine complete went on sale separately anyway for like $20 all up so I saved money anyway and I already owned everything else from the humble bundle and previous steam sales apart from homefront.

I was really regretting not buying the THQ humble bundle. Definitely going to get this. Thanks OP.

  • I don't have any of these games, should I buy it now even though I don't have the time to play?

    • If you ever wonder whether or not to buy something all you have to ask yourself is, is it a bargain?
Questions like do I need this? do I have enough money? etc, are all unimportant.

In this case it is Yes!

This has been that price for ages!

Id consider it part of the winter sale!

Though i guess with all those positive votes it wont be counted as a dupe.

    • I considered pointing that out except the THQ bundle is not actually mentioned in that post (apart from comments). I don't think any of the publisher bundles (eg Bethesda, Valve etc) are even in that post.

      • yeah not part of the post but still part of the same sale, really dont want a post for every item every time someone has a sale… should really just be noted in the comments…

        • +1

I stopped looking at the Steam post, it got too long to read, and far to many comments. Simpler enough just to go to the Steam homepage. Still, kudos to NGPriest for the effort.

      • The Valve complete bundle isn't even available in Australia though.

  • +2

Should note that you only get one key so it is all or nothing!

    • wow thats bad, in the past you used to be able to gift what you already had… you sure you cant do this still? (even though its only one key?)

      • +3

I don't believe that was the case with Steam. They are quite specific about it.
