Just saw this for only $10 and a lot of stock in Sydney.

bargainHunterAU on 04/01/2013 - 14:52 ¶Pick up already. Look OK for $10 drum set for young kid 2-4 year old.

We had one of these. Worth much less than $10 in our opinion. Broken within minutes.
Agreed. The two drums broke off within minutes.
And it's smaller than it looks… http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/827/photohnw.jpg/ (controller there for scale)

+7 votesalwayseric on 04/01/2013 - 13:25 ¶is it too small for an adult? i mean …. a fiend of mine…. cough cough..
Captain Obvious on 04/01/2013 - 13:45 ¶Well it would depend on the size of the adult. Kenny Baker (R2-D2) I'm sure would find it a great size!

Tried playing it when I bought one for my nephew. The whole kit keeps moving away from you since it's too light.

+3 voteswish I can tell you more but the it is a long list. Here is the link http://dicksmith.com.au/clearance/t/
+2 votesHad one a few years ago when my girls were a bit younger (like 3yo). They had good fun with it — until a friend's boy (also ~3yo) came over and borrowed it for 2 weeks. He had GREAT fun with it, except the whole thing got smashed into pieces.
Anyway. Cheap fun for kids (and occasional amusement for adults), but the build quality is pretty bad. Oh, don't try the stool if you are over 20kg :)

2stroksmokr on 04/01/2013 - 14:53 ¶Yes. I laughed so hard, was going to get one for my nephew. Walked passed and like no way. Its packed into a box the size of your lunchbox from school.
annoynimous on 04/01/2013 - 14:50 ¶gonna grab one for nephew's bday next week, you are a super(hero)forever
Captain Obvious on 04/01/2013 - 15:38 ¶Bought the last one from Gateways (WA). Also picked up Black Eyed Peas on Wii for $5.

Captain Obvious on 04/01/2013 - 17:09 ¶Yeah I thought it was a joke originally then saw they negged the deal. Bizarre.

2 kids, but you only bought one… on the one hand you reduce noise by only having one set, but on the other you'll increase noise cos of the fighting over who gets to play it!
superforever on 04/01/2013 - 20:05 ¶Don't under estimate the power of ozbargains, a lot of place out of stock now.

+1 voteI bought this 1 year ago for Christmas for $20 for my 10-month old boy. He loved it, have some good video clips of him with head down and arms flailing like Animal from the Muppets. My boy is not rough, and the cymbal broke off after around 2 months, and one of the tom skins broke after another few months. A friend of his broke off the other tom after a few minutes at it. The stool is sturdy and my boy still uses it without the kit.
$20 for a few months of fun was well spent. $10 is even better.
Some of you have asked if you could play it yourself - absolutely not - unlike other toy drum sets it doesn't have a snare or standard cymbal (it has a crash and 2 toms), so you can't even play a basic pattern. You can only play solos and make a bit of noise.
Also it's not very loud at all, it didn't bother me or my wife.

The sound from the toms is actually pretty good. You wonder why people spend hundreds of dollars on a tom-tom when you can get a $2 one from Dickies.
If you hit the top of the cymbal stick it sounds like a closed hi-hat. The only thing that you're really missing is a snare.
