mannabeans on 06/01/2013 - 08:21 ¶Hi bazz737, thanks for question. Just to confirm this deal is for 1x1kg Columbian Pitalito, 1x500g PNG Kimel A and 1x 500g lucky dip; no 250g bags this time. If you can note paypal when you check out or send an email so I know which order is yours then I will try my best to send Tiger Mountain but can't promise. The problem is that once I allow 1 person to pick which coffee they want for lucky dip then other people will also want to. Thanks
mannabeans on 06/01/2013 - 11:35 ¶Thanks very much and welcome back ;-) appreciate the feedback. Happy New Year and hope you've had a great Christmas
+1 voteOrdered this special and it was delivered promptly, thank you. However I hope the following comment is constructive. I requested the 1Kg be bagged, if convenient, in 2 X 500 gm bags. It came in a 1 Kg bag with this note on the packing slip: "waiting for $1 payment for extra bag - not received - 8/1/12 - send order". My position is that: 1. I never received any advice from Manna Beans about the $1 extra (otherwise I would have happily paid for this additional service) and 2. I would have thought a more commercial approach would be to provide this additional service in the absence of the $1 payment in advance, and to ask the customer in an accompanying note to remit the $1 immediately or to include it in the next order. To me, this approach would enhance the customer's shopping experience (and goodwill), and I believe most, if not all, regular shoppers would be happy to pay for extra services rendered at a fair price.
mannabeans on 11/01/2013 - 11:48 ¶Thanks for your feedback Frederick, I appreciate your position and apologize if there has been an oversight in regards to the additional payment request. We often have requests from customers on Ozbargains asking for the deal to be changed in various ways, from packing in different size bags to asking to specify which lucky dip they receive and delaying orders amongst others. Athough we didn't offer/advertise these additional requests/services, We always try our best to accommodate as much as possible but I'm sure you can understand that due to the nature of these cheap promos, there is barely any profit margin involved and therefore we ask the customer to pay for the additional bags. Although it only seems like $1 and that we should maybe send the bags and chase up the money after; unfortunately the additional cost to us over many deals and trying to chase people for $1 is not practical and erodes the integrity of the deal.
In your case I can see that you purchased the deal and then afterwards requested to be packed in additional bags. I apologize if there has been an oversight emailing you about an addition payment option to accommodate your request.
As a gesture of goodwill I will include a free sample for you on your next purchase. Please note to this effect on checkout. Hope you have a great weekend
