Stumbled upon this while browsing DSE's front page, next cheapest available I can see is around the $70 mark. Cheapest past deal I can see was $118 for two.

It does specify "Deal Only Available Online!" but click & collect is currently showing as an option, saving you a shipping fee. You can try your luck purchasing this in-store without making an order first, but depending on who serves you, they may insist you make an order online first due to the "online only" pricing.

      640 x 480 @ 20 fps doesn't seem too terrible for the price, are there any alts you can recommend?

    You could always get one of those $29 smart phones from Coles and use it as a wireless IP Camera. Granted it has no stand.
