  I've had a fair few wiimotes and as long as they aren't imported from somewhere like Deal Extreme or Lightake they are solid and work just as well as authentic. The only problem the ~$6 import ones seem to have is the connections like the battery socket if you have those rechargable batteries and the nunchuk socket has rusted on two of the imports because they weren't plated through that process where they get submerged and anodized.

    I had a christmas tree like that where the ac adapter plug rusted with the inside housing causing it to short out and melt last christmas… Also nice price for wii plus controller

      I bought the last one at Dick Smith Morley, WA.

      They were out of black ones, so I got one the same shade of pink as timpo's avatar.

  they had these for sale for like $2 in dse long time ago with the chargers and all….the chargers r worthless but i think the controllers r fine. I would suggest not buying them…..u can buy mine off me if u want lol $2 each + postage haha

    Those were wiimote without motion plus. I had one but still havent use it.

      (not plain black, they had black on the front and white on the back) for $2 each in the big Dick Smith sale (the one where everyone was pissed of because they had no stock and the staff were allegedly keeping all the good stuff for themselves). They also had controllers without motion plus, just controllers with motion plus and just the nunchuck all for $2 each.

      Kids only use it for Skyward Sword that actually needs the motion plus and otherwise use the regular ones most of the time (unless all the batteries are flat). Nothing wrong with them in my opinion.

    Nope, Wii remotes usually aren't sold with the nunchuck.

  the one thing i never buy ( anymore ) is third party controllers….you always learn the hard way but eventually you do learn.
