50% off SIGG Water Bottles

50

Not sure if people will be interested in this, but I was. SIGG water bottles are top quality and hard to find on sale. The 1L is ussually around $40, but here they are around $22.
With all the fears around BPA plastics and the extra waste that plastic water bottles create we should all own our own water carrying devices….I'll get off my high horse now:)
Chatting to Store owner offer is valid until end of January or until stocks run out(had a fair few left when I was in the store today)
Shipping is $9.95 per order or free for orders over $99.
You can also pick-up in store(StKilda Melbourne).
Cheers

When Catch Of The Day had "Just pay for the delivery" promo, I bought them for $4.95 each (that's how much they normally charge for the delivery.)
So 4 bottles cost me just under $20.
They only had a few varieties but…

I prefer my Contigo Autoseal Drake Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel 600ml Water Bottle (awfully long name!) which I ordered from Amazon.com recently for about $30 posted expedited. Whilst it lacks design/size choices it can be operated with one hand with an auto-seal opening & since its double wall insulated a cold drink will last all day :) AND there's less chance of a kid's tongue getting stuck in it :P

  • It's an okay deal - I think I got mine for about $15 from Amazon. Maybe $18 including shipping, split between a few items. With $9.95 shipping, unless you're buying a few things this becomes fairly steep.

But I will say just on Sigg bottles, they're lovely and light, and designed really nicely, but they dent very easily. More easily than other metal bottles I've had (though I guess these are aluminium and I've previously had steel). Still totally usable, just a bit ugly.

  • I was just thinking about getting a metal water bottle as I'm sick of using (and throwing away) plastic bottles. nearly bought one from Kamanthdu as they were half price .. but then got a 'free' one (had to make a gold coin donation) from Sydney Festival the other day! yay!!
