  • the last two that I bought from ibyte both stop worked between one week of each other. The phone just didn't register when plugged into my laptop. Apparently apple has installed a chip into the cables so that they cannot be replicated. can anyone comment?

I'd rather spend the insane/ridiculous $35 for a cable once than constantly buying replicates that aren't going to work..

    • We were wary of this and I have been exclusively using the new cable for exactly a week now.
Some cables didn't work on 6.02, didn't sync or give you access to your photos when you plugged them in. This cable does work on 6.02, does sync and does give you access to your photos.

      • I assume no guarantee for next 6.03 update?

    • I had similar issues with a couple of lightning to 30-pin adapter cables I bought off the internet. Both listing had said their cables worked similar to Apple's but neither was able to transfer music to my dock or the car stereo. In the end got a cable for $45 from Apple and it works perfectly. I'd be very careful…

  • I believe that the next update is actually iOS 6.1 rather than 6.03. But the question stands. Tested on 6.1?

  • Don't rely these cable for data as any firmware update would make them useless.
For just charging that should be fine.

  • Been so many lightning cable deals :( still, I'd spend e money on a genuine one, no more risks.

  • The one I bought seemed to get error messages when trying to charge. I won't buy another one.

    Hi REP

Good to see the C-Tick N10117 on the Car Charger.

A Good Price for a Certified Device.

I understand that this N10117 Certification belongs to Belkin. So, are these genuine Belkin Chargers, or did Belkin give permission to the importer to use their certification?

    • Good pickup A3Australia. I am interested to see the REP's response.

  • REP Kevin Baker, you had better add the Trading Name "Weird and Wonderful" to your Sole Trader ABN. As it stands you should not have been able to register that com.au domain as you do not currently meet the eligibility requirements.

  • =) fast shipping, received two days after i brought the charger.
