They probably sent the junior assistant around to clean it up before the OP could take photos.

Hopefully it's on the self raising then you won't have to pick it up and put it in your trolley, it will do it itself!

  • Farkit i bought one at full price 2 wks ago.

    $199 at Aldi Carindale (Brisbane)

    • excellent price.

    • how many left?

      • 5 units left at carindale for $199. Thats a more deserving title!

  • Aldi owns Bauhn right?

  • $10 off reg price

    Woo Hoo - a 3.86% discount!

Not sure if that is deserving of a Neg, but it's not exactly earth shattering.

      u make myself look bad.

it is really not a bargain. i can post a few "deals" like this everyweek, because my local Aldi ALWAYS has some vegetable and fruit on sale, 25% easily.

I bought the 39" of this a few days ago at $349 & am very happy with it. Think it's pretty much the cheapest LED/LCD out there (& take note I was upgrading from a fat CRT + dodgy set top box with a surround sound system that didn't really work), but the sound, picture quality are great, it picked up all channels easily even with rabbit ears, 3xHDMI - overall very happy.

  • Wow good price, might pop down to my local tomorrow to see if any are left.

  • Thanks for the post. I have seen a few of the 31.5 and 39" TVs in the Aldi stores (possibly more than usual), I was hoping for a $50 reduction. But then I could miss out waiting,

  • I only paid $239 for this item when it came on sale a few weeks ago a second. The low price reflects on its poor quality. Watching TV from the side angle shows brightness distortion due to the uneven and flimsy frame. I don't know if it is a HDMI standard or something else but if I turn the TV off or change to TV watching with the HTPC still playing on it, it re-arranges all my desktop icons on the HTPC (probable due to change in output resolution). Very annoying. And there is no line audio out to connect my wireless headphones.

  • I bought one because it is a) cheap, b) hd , c) has USB playback.

got extremely tired of connecting my laptop and speakers to the old TV to watch movies.

So far I'm happy with it.

My old (4 years old) sanyo tv was huge in comparison, though same screen size. and heavy. aldi tv frame is 10cms less (diagonal) than the sanyo. and weighs about a fifth of what the sanyo weighed.
