  Nice job on getting us bargainers a deal.
  But its only a medicore deal ($655 was offer by unique mobiles a while ago - however they don't have the best reputation…) and I'm almost certain that most people would prefer the 3g version for its lower price.

    I am with Telstra but cannot justify the extra cost considering the possible frequency change with the digital dividend

  Why go for 3G then? 2G should be enough for anyone :)

    because 3g is the norm now
    and 4g you have to pay a premium for the phone and premium for the ongoing contract with optus or telstra

    e.g. optu s4g is like $50 a month
    for the same amount of data but on 3g, liveconnected is only $20

    over 12-24 months thats ALOT of money just to get a few seconds faster download in the CBD

      I'm on virgin (optus 4G) for $19 a month no contract and 2.25GB.

      So it's quite cheap really if you shop around :)

        There was a special a few months back with 1GB extra for plan lifetime.
