No doubt about the bargain - BUT - The question is POWERevolution, what need would any PORT ADELAIDE supporter have for pens / pencils and books?

  • So someone post a postcode for where this catalog is valid

  • even if I put an adelaide postcode (where POWERevolution is) it says this catalogue is not available in your location !

ATM I can't access the catalogue either so I think Lasoo was updated the site or the file has been moved. But as usual this catalogue is available state wide.
      Start 29/12/08 & End 11 Jan 2009

      • Sorry, didn;t mean to negative vote your comment… just the deal. That was a mistake. Can I undo it? Help Scotty, Help!

  • I went to office works…. they hadn;t even heard of this deal……

  • I'm giving this a negative, cos this link doesn;t work, the officeowrks catalogue doesn;t have any of these blasted books on it, and the shops hasn;t even heard of this promotion. SO I raced down there for nothing today to spend my crazy 10 c. What an idiot I am!

OOOoooooo. Now I voted negative, I look like such a mean person with those negatives by my name! Lucky I am not on ebay now, or I would be blacklisted forever!~

    • I don't mind, you can vote many negatives as you want but to prove this catalogue does exist. Here is the screen shot

Ta although I wouldn't have thought you would have gone to any trouble in making this up. My guess is that lasoo released this too early and its been removed. Nice thing is that we now know its coming so we can be prepared.

        • Yes, I think this is the case, mistake on lasoo's behalf. I looked through the whole catalogue online this morning then by the afternoon, it was gone (postcode 4000 brisbane). I was quite suspicious firstly that they would release a back to school/work sale even before the new year (sort of like woolworths selling easter buns and chocolate eggs right after xmas).
But keep an eye on this catalogue, some very good stationery deals to be had! :) i get so excited over back to school sales, moreso than stocktakes or boxing day sales :P

Rather than having to blacklist you, black knickers are probably out of fashion this week- or ask you to do 30 laps around the website - I have removed your negative vote - Mod

  • The quality of some Officeworks products are not the best. If you like the word "officeworks" advertised all over your books and pens then this bargain is for you.

  • Not in my area, but I just saw Big W in Sydney area will have discounts for books at 5 cents for 5 64 page books, unbranded!.

If only kids actually needed exercise books these days - mine only ever need the foolscap size or some obscure science journal with some lined, some blank pages or a 47 and a half page music book that can only be located in Officeworks Bulgaria.

Pens are good value though I hasten to add, nothing beats a 4 colour pen - it takes me back to those halcyon 70s schooldays:)

    • hahahhahaa. You're funny! :-)

  • Hey guys. I had a look at officeworks, and there was nothing there.
What I can add to this thread is that this time last year (beginning of 2008), there was a very cheap exercise book deal at officeworks (I was too slow for it).
It could well be that lasoo had shown the previous year's catalogue by accident?
