Inexpensive pod coffee machine

have an aldi pod machine in the office which has been great but people are getting bored of the flavours.

consensus reached to source a new machine

missed the $29 kmart pod machines a month or so ago which take 2 brands of pods.

what is an inexpensive/ozbargainers option for a new pod machine?

I'm located in the brisbane CBD

Harvey Norman sells the MAP coffee machines for $49. (was $129)

They come with a milk steaming wand to froth milk like a tradition coffee machine.

Have italian coffee capsules, which claim to be far superior to Aldi's offerings.

Strong, Medium, Mild, Decaf and Hot Choc (but with fancier names).

10pk Capsules for $6.50 RRP (from Officeworks, Target, Harvey Norman)
But I found it easy to negotiate the price down to $5 each at the time of buying the machine at Harvey Norman.

    Hi altomic,

The Kmart ones are still available for $29. I just bought one from Tuggeranong(Canberra) Kmart.

  • I have the Kmart machine for $29 works really well. I have bought more than $29 worth of pods already… well worth the money for the convenience…

DOes anyone recommend any particular "reusable pods" brand….

  • Aldi one is not bad, fairly cheap pods too compared to Nespresso ones.

Safeway/Woolies and Gloria Jeans pods they sell there fit the Aldi machine and there are some different varieties there. I also like mocha flavoured and Aldi do not have it so I refill my Safeway/Woolies pod. It actually has a few plastic filters which are removable making it easier to do so and clean out. Maybe wait and see for actual refillable pods if your machine is still working well?

    • Thanks good to know :)
