  • sad thats its not 10 inch

      • What do you mean "Google Certified"?

        • Some of the cheaper Android devices are not 'certified' and therefore can't access Google Play.

        • Hi ozhunter, as krouton24 said if it's not google certified you don't have play store access. Some of the cheaper tablets have weird market places, eg "SlideME" which has a whopping 70'000 applications available where as Google Play has a few hundred thousand applications available. I'm not sure of the exact quantity on Google Play, but i'd guesstimate it'd be over 300'000 easily.

Long story short - google play allows more app options and thus you can do more with the device.

      • Can anyone advise how this tablet is? Iam really keen on buying the 9.7" but not sure about the performance?

  • Seems like a good price if you can pick up in store, shipping to the ACT is $15, which makes it less appealing.

    • Via private courier, registered freight! :) it's cheaper than the drive.

  • Are these the same ones ALDI had on special before Christmas. There seemed to be quite a few problems and lots were taken back for refund?

Hi Scot, same model they had for $99. We've checked the forums and reviews, biggest complaint was low screen res which is advertised above. It's actually rather good though when you compare to other tablets for below $150. At the end of the day we do have higher models available on our website which are great value, check out this link; http://www.visiontech.com.au/computers/tablets

  • hello - not to highjack the deal, but im still waiting for your updated PC deal! ;)

    • I went to post but we had reached posting limit :| Check this out anyway Chivalry;

      • perhaps i should post it up as a bargain i found? :D

        • if you like :) I assume you like the specs/price then? That PC was built mainly off OzBargain users "suggestions" lol :P

        • well i hope you have some time to answer questions in my posting… and i'll probably drop by on the weekend. :)

    • +2

It's not rebranded - it actually is a brand called Onix.
If you don't believe the battery life, you're welcome to come in store and use the device for 5 hours to prove the point.
After extensive googling before buying the product, the only common complaint was low screen res - which is clearly advertised above.
For $85 - PLEASE, find a better tablet.

Your neg is unjust, you're always popping up on our threads complaining regardless of the deal lamerthanlam :| curious to know what you actually consider a bargain…

Link to the page does not seem to be working, or am i the only one having the issue?

    • server issues, stay tuned. Will be back soon.

      • Half an hour isn't longer than "soon"?

        • Not much I can do about a server crash, technicians are already working on it. My emails are working again so they've made progress :) I'll let you know once the website is operational again.

        • Working now!

    • Working now Rcnpl, sorry for the delay.

  • This looks a better deal for a cheap tablet for the kids? <$70

    http://www.buyincoins.com/new_en/details/7-ainol-novo-7-lege…

Better processor and screen, missing a rear camera and less storage (just add microSD)

  • How soon do you usually ship these out if we buy today.

    • Buy before 3:15PM - ship same day.
Buy after 3:15PM - ship following day.

1-2 days delivery for Sydney Metro
      2-3 days for interstate

      • Awesome, i ordered at 1:50pm so there might be a chance of me getting a new today today or tomorrow :-)

        • hi angelo,
just saw your order - definately tomorrow arrival :)

        • Awesome, should I have received a shipping dispatch email by now? Are you able to advise if it has been shipped? Many thanks :)

        • Hi angeloxlr8,
Sorry for the delay, just checked OzBargain now. Let us know if you need anything else but your consignment is showing as delivered so it should be fine now.

  • Just to confirm, there is no expansion slot for an SD/MicroSD card?

    • Hi trevbreak, it has Micro SD expansion slot. Supports 32GB Max

  • Weight 1.0000 ?????

    • cubic box weight, item dead weight is 700gms

      hi greatdeals,
This is a dual core tablet with 1GB of RAM, so really it is quite a powerful tablet which can handle all HD movie content + graphics intense games. Through the HDMI output it even supports Full HD to a big screen monitor or TV.

+1 for coming to Gosford. This town has never had a cheap computer shop with the exception of that other shop opposite the race course who posts deals on here occasionally. Maybe I can buy stuff in an actual bricks and mortar shop again!

    • Thanks Click_It, we look forward to moving in too! Currently we're arranging the fit out, we'll probably post some kind of sale event on here once the store is operational :) shouldn't be too long at all though!

  • do these's play subway surfers, nieces birthdays comming up and have to get her a tablet since i brought her sister one for her birthday lol

  • I would like to point out that this is only good for kids, the 60 days return is for store credit or replacement, not refund. This is only 512 mb ram so cant run too many this at once.

Battery life is on average 2.5 hrs.

The good thing is that Visiontech is an Australian retailer therefore needs to comply with ACCC standards so what that means is even if you are not happy of the product because it has poorer battery life than stated, faulty screens, etc list of faults goes on and on for these tablets then by law you are entitle for a full refund at any time :)

Only problem is are you willing to take that extra 5 mins to lodge a complaint to the ombudsman because they will most def decline your refund.

I never had bad dealings with this store but i have bad dealings with this tablet so you pay for what you get.
