UPDATE: 50GB for life! http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/93417 (ironically, these come with 2 invites!)

UPDATE2: To upgrade existing accounts to 50GB follow these directions —> Log into your account, add another email address to your account, then make that primary and then delete the email address you want from that account. Then you'll be able to register a new account with the email address. <—- Thanks sphere! (Tested and works!) NOTE: If you botch this up you can never register with your desired email account again, so be careful.

    Feel free to honor the order above or start from scratch I really don't mind. I, like most of us here probably, do have some free cloud accounts already so I'm not in dying need of a 50GB, that said I have one certain need for uploading about 35GB (and growing) collection of private works and would love to be able to place it all in a single cloud account.

      Yeah, your 40th on the list, none of us have got an invite, so I don't think any of us will. But I suppose its better to be safe than sorry, perhaps someone has an invite that can be used by lots of people, you never know.

    Well I have a 50gb account, but Ive searched high and low with the account and I cannot find anything that remotley resembles any kind of invite.
    Might be hard to get any invites if they don't exist.

      Well said, I might see about closing this thread. A 50:0 ratio of requests/invites is not very promising.

    yeah the friends and coworkers invite system doesn't even work properly and your coworkers under the same domain have to be upgraded manually
