Looking for best price on a Borner v5 power slicer.

Hi all, missed the $38 deal from Myer in December and am now trying to find one of these cheap. Second hand would be fine if you live in South Australia, as I can imagine postage would wipe out any saving buying second hand..

Cheapest I can find so far is here http://www.everten.com.au/Borner-V5-Power-Slicer.html $51.85 posted.

If there are any less than this please let me know.

Thanks.

  • We purchased one half price at Harris Scarfe pre-Xmas
Was around $35 and came with a bonus grater attachment

We have had a number in the past and it seems the last one was not a Borner
The blades on the Borner last longer however it the other unit was in fact superior in design and construction and easier to use
I can confirm the brand later if you are interested

    • Yes please do let me know, have been searching many reviews and the Borner has the best in it's price bracket as far as I have seen, but if there is another you recommend I am interested :)

Main thing that is important to me is that it can go quite thin, preferably with a crinkle cut attachment as it's main use will be cutting healthy chips for the dehydrator.

I bought a Cuisinart from Big W and the slices are neither consistant nor easy, I currenty use it with a slash proof glove as the hat is useless.

  • we bought one from target a while ago
