PowerCase for Samsung Galaxy S3 $19 with Free Delivery

70

Kogan sale on a power case for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Comes with free delivery to Australia.

I personally could do with a bit more battery life so I picked up one of these. Not sure when this ends.

  • I like the kickstand too.

However, I would just buy another battery instead.

    • And then carry around another battery separate to your phone, and know that it's charged, and then swap it over from the original battery juuuust when it's getting low. What a comparable option.

      • I don't need to use the second battery most of the time. Just use it as a backup, which I store in a bag. A power cover makes the phone bigger than needed for most people.

And who said you need to swap the battery "juuuust when it's getting low" in order to use the second battery?

To me, that's one of the greatest advantages of the Galaxy S Series over iPhone and Nexus.

  • Highly likely it is cheaper on ebay. A little bit longer postage from hongkong or china

Why is the Note version double the price?

Anyway I already have a spare official battery.

  • got a similar one from eBay for about $16, although it also has a front flap to cover the screen and is branded as 'powerbank'. From DEAD flat expect around 70-75% battery level (this wont fully charge the phone).

  • Galaxy Nexus case is also $19 with Free Shipping I ordered one today, yesterday shipping was $16, ridiculous for a case. These were out of stock for months. Seems to be a few free shipping items.

    • +1

Well the Galaxy Nexus case is just a … case.

PowerCase for Galaxy S3 is a 88g case with 3200mAh battery!

  • Do people here think that the 6600mAh USB battery pack (part of the same sale I think) is worth it for $39?

I figure it has more capacity than the PowerCase and can use it with multiple devices.

    • 1A output -> might not charge some devices like tablets. Nexus 7 for example takes 2A from the wall charger.

      • It's perfectly fine. USB 2.0 doesn't output 1A either, but it still charges.

    • Search for '20000mah usb' on eBay. I got one for about $25 delivered and it can charge 2 devices at once multiple times over.

  • Seems like a good deal at $19. I bought a spare battery as well, but keeping it fully charged whilst you play is a good idea.

    • suprised this didn't get more votes. got one! thanks op

      • sold out!

  • Has anyone received their case yet? I got mine today.
I cant seem to slot my s3 in securely. If I hold the case facing down with the phone inserted the top of the phone falls out. Anybody else having issues?

  • It seems like it fits in with the s3 back cover off but it wiggles inside the powercase. Its not secure.
