Valued at $94? Never ever seen it that expensive in stores.

  • This is around $5 cheaper then most alky store.. Put in mind that it also includes free delivery..

$76 at Dan Murphys - excluding delivery. Delivery is normally about $10.

It's an exaggeration, but it still seems to be a reasonable price.

  • OP, are you associated with gourmet.deals.com.au ? The wording seems to suggest as much.

    • wording is directly off the web site

      • Negative. Just did the old copy n paste! Pretty sure 'Luscious' was only brought to light in my vocab because of this deal haha.

Irrespective of what they value their cider at (which I knew would cause some uproar) it's still cheaper than Dans delivered.

true - but Dan's doesn't make you wait a month like these guys

"Please enter delivery details at checkout. Your cider will be delivered to you in approximately four weeks"

        • But dans arn't as luscious… :P

        • OK, no probs

  • winter cider + heated up = awesome!

Useless trivia for the day … if its made from Pears its called "Perry" … Cider is made from Apples

    • +1

You are assuming that this is made from fermented pears…

Most of the pear ciders only use pear flavours. Officially not perry.

      • +1

True, plus Australian Food Standards say that it has to be made of at least 75% pears to be called Perry. This doesn't apply to imports, however, but most organisations agree on 75% minimum, if not higher.

Note that the only "true" perry made from perry pears that is widely available in Aus is from Weston's (has European Union Geographical indication protection)
