iMac 24-inch 2.8GHz - Canberra

Hi all,

I'm going to get iMac 24inch 2.8 GHz for my birthday next week. Anyone can help which store has the best deal please? I know apple products don't offer discount (if there is any) but will the shops "throw in" freebies such as software, etc? Btw..I'm in Canberra.

    Apple Outlet is currently out of stock for iMacs, but it's by far the cheapest place to get a new mac.

    Last time when I need to get a Mac, I found Getmac.com.au quite cheap (although I am not sure whether they are still competitive). Otherwise wait for 10% off computers from JB Hi-Fi…

    Back to report and I'm one happy iMac owner now.

    Got 24 inch iMac from Myer Canberra Centre $2,170 (was $2,399), Mac Wireless keyboard $60 (was $119) and Mac wireless mouse $70 (was $99). Since I purchased it at Myer with my Myer Visa Card, they have promotion 12 months interest free and I can earn approximately $90!!! (1 dollar = 4 myer visa card points until end of this month). So I basically I paid $ 2,210 for iMac, wireless mouse and keyboard!!

    So happy with the deal!!
