  • what was the whole big campaign that was supposed to 'change things forever'?

    • Free publicity

    • "change things forever" = smaller version of 90s "big foot" pizza from pizza hut.

a hungry person needs 2 chef's best pizza so it's a game changer (doubling sales)

Fancy named shitty pizza? Hah dominos is best served as bulk buying IMHO; would still rather drive an hour to get good pizza than have dominos; but its food in a pinch I guess?

to think I stayed up to watch the announcement.

I figured (based on all the ads) that is was going to be something huge - like the fall of the Berlin wall, a cure for brain freezes, life discovered on another planet or a total TV ban on reality cooking, building, singing/dancing shows.

    • Macquarie dictionary changed the meaning of " Game Changer"

  • wow.. works for karawara store..

No Freaking WAY! I got Chef's best included with double meat (got rid of olives or something small - onion) NO SURCHARGE! Great find!
    AND

    Worked in Tuart Hill WA!

    • That's been around for a while. I used to get the supreme and replace the capsicum for prawns

      • I never know the code would have worked for Chef's range as well if the OP didn't mention it. When I add this voucher code in IPAD HD app, it only says 3 traditional pizzas + garlic + coke.

        Sneaky Dominos!!!!

          dont bother with chefs range

it is smaller and rip off.
and not as much toppings as they claim.
since the crust is square, the toppings seems less.

          Worst marketing ever from dominos

        • +1

          rip off!!!
now only half size of the old chefs design
even smaller than the traditional pizza

  • nice, i'll try ordering this tomorrow.

This code has been on Whirlpool since Monday. Like I'll continue to say every time, dominos codes are best suited in a forum thread because there's so many and change so often.

    • Or retailmenot

    • I sort of agree with BXpressiv

its easier to track all the coupons on one page rather than jumping thread to thread and running searches.

The game changer about was how far the bar could be lowered when using the term 'game changer'..

  • Got two chefs range and one traditional on the way. So worked in Padbury WA.

Are they really smaller? I only ordered the new ones to check them out - the toppings didn't really appeal to me. I'm only after a fat fix after all.

  • Expiry on this one is 17th March.

  • ordered 3 new chefs best to try them out.
    WTF…Small square pizzas, 6 pieces about 5cm x 5cm

If u really want dominos; stick with the traditionals and modify the toppings!

    • Just ordered 1 chefs best to see what the rage was all about. Got 2 supremes with pineapple and mushroom removed to make way for premium toppings duck/pork (more ingredients than the bbq pork/meat lovers) and pork/lamb.
Edit: Received my order and boy they're about 3/5 of a normal sized pizza. I'll be using calories to determine pizza worth from now on.

      • Thanks Moolah, you ordered what I'd order.

All the Dominos promotion of their biggest innovation for a pizza 3/5 the size of the regular supreme?

Thanks for being our guinea pig!

If this new pizza is 40% smaller then I'd like to pay around 4.20, not 7 or 8 dollars for it!

  • I ordered one designa and I must say selecting your 4 toppings on my pizza makes it taste better than the other 2 Pizza's I ordered that had similar toppings.

Had my Chef's pizzas now. Won't be bothering again.

Little 6 slice thing arrives… only the middle two slices worth bothering with - no toppings around the outside. Waste of money. Stick to the normal ones.

  • while im on the fence about the value, i must admit, im pretty happy with this deal from the vermont south store, the meat lovers was pretty good, bbq lamb was the best and im prepared to overlook the fact that they didnt cut the supreme one, but i can see these getting ordinary real quick and cant say at full price id be back for these and im a pizza lover

  • Anyone who tried their Pisang Goreng (Battered Banana) care to comment on how it compares to those in MY/SG?

    • We had the battered bananas. Can't comment on the comparison but they were pretty good, if a little small. Not sure where they found bananas that are abut 2 inches long.

  • I think the best thing is thet made the firebreather traditional..so i dont have to customize my own anymore.

I know being any form of Domino's apologist/ 'defender' on OzBargain is a sure fire way to get the proverbial crap kicked out of me (apparently they were responsible for the Holocaust or something, if general public opinion is anything to go by)… But I was actually pretty impressed with the Chef's Best pizzas. Sure while the "square-footage" is less; good, generous toppings more than make up for the deficit (and, at least in my opinion, are similarly filling to the traditional pizzas). While hardly a "game changer" if there are regular vouchers that put them in the $6-9ea range, I think its actually a promising sign that Domino's is trying to make a good, but relatively affordable pizza.
