    Wow I'm goad I was on late to see this deal! Was planning on spending the same amount for 1KG next week but for 2KG this is too good to pass up. My local source for beans charge $44 for Tiger Mountain alone.

    When these arrive, should I put the unopened pack in the freezer? I go through 1Kg in about 6 weeks, would it last that long?

      Coffee is only really fresh for the first few weeks so although you can still drink it months later it will gradually lose the flavour profiles and become bitter like a lot of the coffee you buy fom the supermarket. Yes if you want to put the 2nd bag in the freezer this is what some people do, just make sure its an unopened bag and defrost properly. Otherwise store in airtight container in cool dark place. Otherwise find someone else who wants to go halves with you ;-)

      If it takes you 6weeks to go through 1kg there is no point buying 2kg. Even if you put it in the freezer it will be old and stale by the time you use it.

    How do these beans compare to seven seeds or proud mary? Some of the best coffee I have had has come from these two roasters but they are by no means cheap. $16-20/250gm

    I ordered and paid on the 18th; would orders on this date have been sent? I just sent you a message about the order.
    Hopefully it arrives tomorrow! I'm worried since you didn't send a tracking number after payment, like you did on the last order.

    Have you been sending out orders this week?

    The reason I ask is because you advertise this deal as:

    'All orders will be roasted fresh to order either the same day or the following day and then shipped on the same or next business day.'

    If that was the case, I'd be very happy.
    If you promise to roast and send in 1-2 days, it's very disappointing when it's delivered next week rather than next day!

      Hi Bizi the description states that it can take 1-2 day to roast and ship plus you need to allow the time in transit which can then be 1-5 days to most areas or 5-7 to WA. We only received your order a couple of days ago but due to the cheap nature of this deal and such a huge response we therefore need a couple of days to roast and ship. I know some people can be lucky and get them the following day but this is never promised and I think it is unreasonable to order in the evening and expect delivery the following day to a different state in Australia. All tracking numbers have to be individually sent and I haven't had a chance to get them all out yet as we've been concentrating firstly on getting the orders out as quickly as possible. please be patient and allow 1-2 days extra for delivery. Thanks

    I am Sydney post area. Not interested in excuses, it reinforces my perception of amateur operation. How hard is it to post a couple bags of beans according to your own policies and invitation? I will cancel and seek PayPal refund. I have no idea why manna beans is so popular here. If you want to promote yourself to new customers I would suggest you get your act together first. Now off to buy some supermarket beans to replace the ones that didn't come and will be going stale even if they ever do.

      There has only been 4 working days since this deal was posted and 3 since your order. Since we state it can take 2 days to roast and ship and obviously transit time I feel this is extremely unfair. We have received hundreds of orders in 48 hours and are doing our best. Rather than posting negative comments before even waiting the time frame specified why don't you send me an email or give me a ring so I can check your order and give you an ETA.
      The beans are shipped on the same or next day that they are roasted so I fail to see how they will be stale on arrival. At $39.95 for 2kg of fresh roasted coffee delivered this is an extremely good deal, surely you can allow us an extra couple of days for delivery as we have been flooded with hundreds of orders.

      I would also just like to point out that if you order your beans to be ground then they have to sit for 3-4 days after roasting for the flavours to develop before they can be ground.

      My order from Tuesday night was apparently sent Friday and i was told it will arrive Monday, but I didn't get a tracking number like I did for my previous order.

      Please see above post. You can't expect next day delivery on these deals like from our website as its half price and we have hundreds of orders. You ordered Wed night, we roasted Thurs and shipped Fri. You will receive Mon. This is within the time frame specified.

      I can see on your previous purchase we were very efficient and you did receive your coffee the next day but this is not promised

      From what I can see you didn't ask a question. You didn't receive your coffee the following day so you posted a negative comment about having no coffee for the weekend, hence the negative vote you received. For your information the competitor you are referring to lives in the same state as you where as we don't and I can see from you previous order with us you also received it the following day. As already stated you ordered Wed night and we roasted Thurs then shipped Fri within the time frame specified. I suggest if you want instant coffee you go to the supermarket. To order at night time and expect to receive it the following day in another part of Australia is totally unreasonable especially when we received hundreds of orders and we clearly stated that we need 1-2 days to roast and then we ship. Also I don't believe that the bad language is necessary

      I received a neg for my question, too, even though I was only asking for information and was not making comments.

      Note that I asked here after emailing, because the deal originally posted stated that the coffee would be roasted a day after the order and sent the following day.

      My PayPal payment was not followed by any shipping info after a couple of days.
      Which prompted me to email mannabeans about the lack of information. Then my question here, since I feared I wouldn't get coffee until next week.

      It seems a number if customers ordered but will be out of beans until some time early next week.

      We learn. At least we are getting info here…and coffee next week.

      Credit though to mannabeans for changing the deal so it now does not promise to send out within 24-48hrs.

      Edit: it seems we no longer get communications about shipping such as courier tracking numbers. This was something I expected since I was sent one after my last order. I never received any explanation for that change.

    I never expect it to be next day delivery. I ordered 4 or 5 times from Manna Beans. Delivery was reasonable quick every time. The coffee was great every time.
    For this price ($40/2kg or $25/1kg) I would buy this great coffee every time I run out of beans. And I would never look at supermarket beans again.

    I ordered on the 18th, and got an email the next day saying the postage was 'in process'. I assumed that meant shipped.

    It is now a week later and I was about to follow up, but got an email today saying that it has been shipped today. The tracking number provided doesn't work on the courier company's website. So much for freshly ground coffee… did it take 7 days for the courier to pick it up? Their courier, couriersplease, gets pretty bad reviews.

    I normally order from a company here in melbourne (coffeecompany.com.au) and get my coffee next day. They are cheaper than manna beans retail price and have a good selection and good service.

      I have used the coffee company for the last 5 years, and never had a problem. Great range & prices.
      But, i am always skeptical about the freshness of their beans. They may 'roast daily', but how long have the beans you order been sitting in the shopfront baskets, exposed to the environment?

      Hi Halfnuts, the reason your order has taken slightly longer is because you requested ground coffee. We have to let the coffee sit for 3-4 days after roasting before we can grind to let the flavours develop properly, otherwise the coffee would have no flavour. The coffee was ground and shipped today so should reach you fresh in the next couple of days.

      Should you wish to speed the process up for future orders and keep the coffee fresher for longer we do have some Hario Ceramic Burr grinders starting from $39.95 allowing you to purchase whole beans
