  • Would prefer AMLogic dual core. Hero I Tab was around 149 at mp4nation. They guranteed A grade (export), whatever that means……

Do you have A grade of such?

We will bring in the Hero 10 soon.

WOW, you say AU seller but I have not heard good things about your company Shopping Square - just peruse the web for hundreds of reviews complaining of postage delays and non existent customer service. I would prefer to deal with an o/s seller in these circumstances!

I have been dealing with them for more than 10 years, and they were good - ok (for customer issue resolve)….. until recently I had an issue over the christmas purchase, the replies were "item were shipped out on xxx " for 4 times (each reply from my different question)…… so it seems no point of sending any help email…….

what happen to the user friendly staff before?

      • Maybe all the good staffs have left the company to set-up on their own after learning the trick of the trade.

There is a much higher risk when buying overseas, don't you know? If the item is DOA or has a defect it costs tons of money to send it back to Hong Kong or China.

However be aware SSQ is only offering 90 days replacement warranty. In other words once 90 days have passed you will have to deal directly with the manufacturer who may or may not give a damn about your issues… so the risk is just about the same.

But you'll still get 90 days local warranty.

      • If DOA with merimobiles, they pay $25 USD return shipping (if DOA within 30 days of receipt).
Shopping square pay the full cost of return shipping (if DOA within 21 days of receipt) but good luck getting them to respond to your return request.

SS make you pay return postage after the 21 day period if the item is defective. SS, can you confirm whether this is to HK or Australia? I expect HK.

      • Mate, you might want to get some legal advice.

Does Ainol have a presence in Australia? If not, then you're the deemed manufacturer, meaning you are liable for the warranty - which is not 90 days, or 12 months, but a reasonable period.

Shopping Square with genuine free shipping? Hell hath frozen over.

    • Agreed, luckily I was sitting when I read that too!

After a thorough Ainol examination recently, I found it had a significant hole in it's spec lineup - no bluetooth for a keyboard.

"Local warranty" implies I can return it to the store at no cost to me if there are any issues whatsoever, for any amount of times, over the course of 12 months. It also implies there will be a local contact point, be it a "local" phone number or a storefront. I really don't think your offer qualifies under any of those criteria.

By the way, statutory warranty is 12 months in all states of Australia and the retailer is responsible for it, not the manufacturer.

    • If item DOA (within 21 days of receiving) - item are returned at seller cost
After DOA period, buyer pay for return postage and seller pay for replacement postage.

By the way, statutory warranty is 12 months in all states of Australia and the retailer is responsible for it, not the manufacturer.

Right, after 90 Replacement period. Buyer has the choice to deal with manufacturer or Australian seller for the warranty service during manufacturer warranty period.

Sadly it is slower than a lot of dual cores - something with an exynos or even rockchip or allwinner quad would be better
Not a bargain imo - esp when sellers like merimobile will pay half of return ship if something is wrong

  • Is this is the Crystal II or the original?

edit: I take its not the Crystal 2 since my question got ignored by the Rep.

    • anyway, it's quad core - crystal 2 (ATM chip).
Since i own a crystal 1 (AMLogic chip)

I know it is confusing, the official ainol call it Crystal quad……. some reviewer call it crystal 2

  • I need one of this by friday afternoon. (Kid bday on Saturday)

How do I go about it?

    • Thanks for interested with the item, but our earliest dispatch date for it is this Friday (Thursday is Public Holiday in Hong Kong)

      • I thought the ad said AU seller? Hong Kong?

        • AU seller, not AU supplier.

  • got one! thanks!
