Save 16-20c/Litre of Fuel with Woolworths Everyday Rewards (Must Be Existing Cardholder)

So after that Coles voucher gone viral, it appears that Woolies is trying to replicate this.

Must be existing cardholder, received the email and click on the activate offer button… so I thought that's why I'd post here in the forums instead of a deal (or mod please move it there if it qualifies as a deal).

I'm not sure about the spending threshold for everyone, as previously the easter giftcard spend amount was different for each person.

Condition: spend $80 or more in one shop this weekend
SPEND FUEL SAVING

These are not new, I have had the same offer a couple times now. So not really WW getting in on the act.

    • Yeah, both of them email these offers regularly to EDR or Flybuys card holders. They're always trying to get you to spend a bit more than your last spend. Their software is definitely tracking everybody. After I made one purchase (either Pepsi or Lindt chox) exceeding $30, then nothing for a while, their software sent me a We Miss You email.

  • So how do I activate the offer?
I have the rewards card. Do I need to receive the email also ?

    • You need the activation link in the email.

  • I got

    Spend FUEL SAVING
    $120 - $159 20c per litre
$160 or more 25c per litre

Have got this email a few times over the last few months before with the same values.

Wonder if you get nothing if you spend $159.01 to $159.99 heh..

    • Oh okay, didn't know that. It's the first time I've received this kind of fuel saving vouchers from them :)

Edit: okay, after doing a search through my inbox I found a couple of these offers, but they're like save 8c/litre so it didn't get my attention :P

      • Oh I forgot, in previous offers you could spend the amount in multiple transactions, now you have to spend it all at once, a little sneaky.

        • This would make it same as Coles. If you are allowed to do the target purchase in multiple order, I would pay three times to get two 8 cents off coupons plus the 16 cents off.

    • "Wonder if you get nothing if you spend $159.01 to $159.99 heh.."

Obviously you will get 20c/l off as you are over $120 but under $160

      • If they worded it as $120 - $159.99 sure, technically they could claim you haven't reached any target though..

  • What is the subject of the email?

Im a member but cant find the email?

    • Firstname, save up to 20c per litre on fuel

      • thanks greenpossum!

I just checked and I got that email on March 1, so I called them up and they said that members are selected at random. And I missed out this time!

        So much for email marketing!!!

They keep sending these to me. Reason probably because I hardly spend anything with them. You probably spend too much with them so they ignore you some of the time.

  • I've been sent a couple of offers like this - always the day AFTER I do a big shop. I get that they want to encourage you to spend more, but the level of manipulation is irritating more than inspiring.

    • Just trying to understand how it's their fault you decide to shop on day n and not n+1?

  • The email I got was spend over $200 for 30cents off. Just did my big shop mid week :/
