WPI Flavours

We have 17 flavours available to choose from.

Our new releases are Neapolitan Ice Cream and Mint Choc Chip.

All flavours are naturally sweetened. All use thaumatin except for Aussie Choc Malt and Cinnamon Icing (these two use stevia). Please note that some people find the stevia aftertaste unpleasantly bitter, so we'd recommend choosing from other options if you're concerned about this.

We've transitioned over to thaumatin for the fact that it is an all natural plant based sweetener, a superior flavour profile, a neutral insulin impact (as it is a protein) and being very gentle on the gut. A bit of trivia, thaumatin is about 10x the cost of artificial counterparts (eg. sucralose) and more than 5x the cost of stevia w/w!

Also note the Unflavoured option is straight WPI with just sunflower lecithin to assist in mixing and reduce frothing (less than 1%).

  • 100% Australian Blended and Packed in our Sydney Facility
  • Our manufacturing facility is owned by us and is a NSW Licensed Food Facility
  • Per serve: 29.1 - 24.4g protein / 0.3 - 0.9g fat / 0.4 - 3.4g carbs (varies between flavours)
  • We only use WPI in this protein - this is not a blend
  • Protein is added hormone free, ultra and micro filtered and cold pressed
  • Soy free - we use sunflower lecithin instead of soy lecithin (soy is common in whey proteins)

      Normally the discounted Club Z price is $40.95 for 1kg. But under this deal, after you apply the coupon code in the shopping cart, it will come down if you add in 4kg (just select the 4kg size).

      So it should come into the cart at $149.99, but you'll get back $65 if you're an already paid and existing Club Z member within a week of your order shipping.

      If, after the coupon is applied, the cart isn't showing $149.99, try emptying your cart and re-adding it. It's likely a bug due to the high number of orders presently.

            @aminozcomau: I received the order, had only single scoop of chocolate. It was OK, did not feel the instant cramps.

            I read this stuff is suitable for vegetarians, so I think the other milk chocolate flavor would also be good.

            I did not get the 50$ store credit though.

    Pretty sharp deal here. I recently switched to Amino Z as ON Gold has just gotten too expensive.

    Mostly happy with the product and the service, but I would say be careful with ordering new flavours you haven't tried. I thought the choc malt would suit me so when I did my 3kg order I got two bags of it. Turns out I really didn't love it (it's not bad, just not for me) and returning my unopened bag to change it for another flavour cost me half the value of the product myself.

    I didn't want it to go to waste so returning the unopened bag seemed like the right thing to do, but the 110% guarantee doesn't seem to cover this so I ended up well out of pocket.

    @aminozcomau will you be expanding your range of sample flavours for the WPI?

      For the 110% Guarantee, could you PM Vanessa with your order number? I'll highlight this to Vanessa as a matter of priority so she can review this for you. If you were unhappy with the product we should be looking after you here and you shouldn't be out of pocket. I believe some further training may be required, but I'll overlook this myself with Vanessa.

      Thanks also for the feedback on the Aussie Choc Malt. This is something we are in the process of reformulating too, as it currently uses stevia which can be offensive to a small percentage of our customers (it has a bit of a bitter aftertaste which some people notice more than others).

      In terms of flavours, yes we are absolutely expanding them. We just launched our Neapolitan flavour and we have a number of new flavours in the works too.

    I rate your preworkout. It’s no total war but it’s head and shoulders above c4 (I’ve tried all the variants), and the bulk nutrients one.

    The protein has been pretty good too.
    Though I will say Coconut vanilla icecream seems really… cakey compared to the creamy vanilla which seems to mix wayyyy easier…

        Hi @megaalc the key difference is in the dosages of the ingredients per serve, sweeteners and colouring.

        Ours is naturally sweetened and has no colouring. C4 Ripped has artificial sweeteners (acesulfame K, sucralose) and also colouring.

        Ingredients comparison as follows:

        Our Complete Pre: Citrulline Malate 2:1 (6 g/serve), Beta-alanine (3.2 g/serve), L-Tyrosine (1 g/serve), Flavours, Agmatine Sulphate (500 mg/serve), Anticaking agent (Silicon Dioxide), Maltodextrin, Caffeine Anhydrous (275 mg/serve), Sweetener (Thaumatin), Sodium Citrate, Anticaking agent (Magnesium Stearate)

        From what I could see about the C4 Ripped per serve:

        Beta-alanine 1600 mg
        L-citrulline 1000 mg
        L-tyrosine 500 mg
        L-carnitine L-tartrate 500 mg
        Green coffee extract 200 mg
        Caffeine anhydrous 150 mg

      +1. I'd be keen on this in the future, had a quick look at their range but nothing comparable in price to WPI. Don't need anything fancy but the pea protein etc needs to be about 30-37$/kg to be competitive, similar to VPA and bulk nutrients.

      I like the options of 1kg bags with discounts for the more you get, and offers the flexibility of mixing flavours.

      It is the future ;).

    Good protein powder. Unfortunately the mass gainer is not amazing even with milk (although milk makes it tolerable). I believe a new version of the mass gainer has since been released since I ordered it but I have almost 5 kg left of my mass gainer to use first. I'd probably try another brand of mass gainer before Amino Z.

    That being said, the Whey Protein Isolate is excellent.

      Think of it as when the choc, vanilla and strawberry all melt together. It's got a bit of each flavour in there combined.

      Choc honeycomb - we may be bringing this back, but I unfortunately don't have a firm ETA on it. We were working on reformulating it, but reformulations can take a very long time to get the flavour right, so I cannot commit us to a date I'm afraid.

      Actually I discovered that bug just last night and attempted to fix it, but it required a bit more time than I had available to fix and fully test properly. So it is on my list to fix and will be fixed after the deal is finished. To be transparent, I didn't want to risk having a major problem on the product page when we launch a deal.

      I'm unsure if we'll be bringing back the Peanut Caramel Cookie. We have been deliberating with this flavour as to whether or not to continue it (as we did a limited run previously). Currently we have no definite plans to bring it back, but I will pass along your request to our team as feedback. Sorry I can't say a definite yes or no either way.

    Great product, great service. Happy customer for the last few years.

    The last time I ordered the courier dropped it off at a different address than what was on the shipping label. Customer service looked into it very quickly after I informed them I didn't receive it despite the tracking showing delivered. I was offered to send the order again but I was happy to wait for the original package to make its way to me because I still had a few kg from a prior order.

    I've still got a few kg but I'll probably order this again in the next day if I can just make some space to store it in the pantry.

    The flavors are great, but the ultimate bargain is in unflavored (more protein per serve) and then adding a spoon of cocoa powder and a few drops of stevia IMO.

    Don't need to re-order atm, but if anyone has vanilla, try this:

    1 scoop vanilla WPI
    2 heaped tablespoons raw cocoa

    Put about 1/4 cup milk into a mug. Add WPI and cocoa and stir as best you can.
    Add hot water.

    Result: hot vanillary sweet chocolate, full of protein :)

    I've tried this with the chocolate flavour but didn't really like the result. There's enough vanilla flavour to make the vanilla variation pretty tasty though.

          Hi @SanAndreas23 it's possible, but the crediting process is automated so I cannot guarantee and it is unlikely. But you can use it anytime too. Just note that if you want to place another order under this promo, you only get the credit amount once, there is a max of $50 per person (or $65 if Club Z) during the promo period.

      You can Subscribe and Save if you like, but no there is no additional fee if you cancel after receiving. Our subscription orders will trigger at the beginning of each week that they are due (Monday). You can cancel any subscriptions prior to this time and there will be no charges at all.

    Got 1kg of creatine + some protein samples. I'm always worried to leave my main brand (Optimum nutrition) behind as they're delicious protein but it's becoming too expensive to justify paying for it.

      Just checked how much ON gold standard costs now and wow! I was using them before I switched to Amino Z 5 years ago. No regrets. I'm a fan of creamy vanilla. Mixes well in water and milk!
