Best Work from Home (WFH) Top for Winter

Hi brains trust, what is your goto top for WFH during cold seasons?

It needs to be warm, comfortable and need to look somewhat presentable in online meetings, for context I am a senior healthcare worker - appearing in scrubs are ok for online meetings when I am at the hospital.

edit: also, I am a male.

Merino jumper. If it is very cold I wear two, as they are quite thin, but very warm and soft.

    Aldi merch

    • On sale since Saturday just gone. I nipped into Aldi today for some desserts and forgot about this. Dang! Good excuse to head back in tomorrow.

Circular reference again. Makes co-pilot/chatgpt a bit redundant.

Nothing against AI output, however, when the output very obviously finds this thread and very obviously uses it, it's redundant.

          From mskeggs:

Merino jumper. If it is very cold I wear two,

          Notice this and the reference:

consider layering two merino jumpers for extra coziness¹.

What does that refer to? this thread!

  • I would just wear a down jacket over a shirt or something.

Uniqlo Heattech range is great. Whilst pricey, they wear well. Good for layering with a cardigan or under a nice sweater/jumper.

These thermals are my base layer for every outfit during winter, be it in the office or WFH. When it's really, really cold, I pop on long johns under pants.

    • Yep, as a Canberran I wear something from the Heateach almost all winter. extra/ultra warm long sleeve t-shirt + thin fleece top (or heat tech waffle top) and then you can layer on whatever you need over the top. Their tracksuit pants are excellent as well (as are the heat tech jeans). Have done the running tights under pants at times!

Just any jumper you have lying around…

I don't understand some questions - it's like people don't have any common sense?

    • Common sense is not so common

  • overshirt / shacket

  • North Face jacket.

  • Go to a store and try on some clothes.

  • Oddie and uggs. Something warm?

  • Normal cloths and turn on heater ?

  • Position the cam so they can only see neck up

  • Got this. Hasn’t missed a beat so far https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/736122
