  • would anyone know if this one is ideal and good for a Dash cam use?

    • +2

you want high endurance ones for dash cams

      • +1

+1 High Endurance. Although my Sandisk HEs failed after a year.

        • +2

Not really, I have been using an Samsung Evo+ continuously on my Dashcam for 6 years, hasn't failed yet. Been subject to alot of heat and cooling cycles during summer and evenings.

Its just luck of the draw.

          • @slam: thank you! maybe I can test out with Evo+ or Extreme since I only use dashcam while driving also garaged, and below average use of the car, I will think about it

      • cheers I will look into that!

Friends don't let friends buy Sandisk products from 3rd party sellers on Amazon.

Click on the seller and it shows 5 out of 5 stars, and 0% 1 star reviews. Good, right?

Now go to the filter box and select '1 Star' and see how many 1 star reviews there really are, and how many of them mention fake cards, or the wrong type of card being shipped.

    • How the hell is this seller still on Amazon?!
They have a whole storefront of fake SD cards. How are they getting around the 0% one star reviews, despite pages and pages of bad reviews

  • +2

Zero chance I'd ever buy a SD card from a 3rd party seller. Way too many fakes.

  • Was hoping to get these for Pocket 3… will OW do price match?

    • +4

called OW, won't price match as apparently its a different product number so it's overseas model and sold by overseas seller using Amazon's platform.

  • SanDisk store on Amazon is selling it at $38.99, unless I'm looking at the wrong thing?

    SDSQXAV-256G-GN6MA

  • Is this the one for switch 2?

    • No. Needs an Express SD card.

  • I took the jump on two of these. They arrived today, and curiously, they are not the model that was pictured in Amazon's listing. What they sent me was SDSQXAV-256G-GN6XN which seems to be a better performing card? I have scrutinized the packaging about as hard as I can to the naked eye and none of the telltale signs of fakes are there. The serial number seems to register with Sandisk's website too. I have not yet done any tests as I just discovered my Micro SD card reader has packed up. I'll have to get a new one on Monday and run some tests

    • Please let us know how you go with the tests!

      • Just finished running H2testw on one of the cards. I'm convinced they're real. They show up as full advertised capacity, and close enough to the advertised read and write speed. Lucky me!

Thanks for reporting back, hope that helps others too.

          • @itsDANNY: Just to follow up, I also reached out to Veloreo through amazon to get a proper invoice, and they were happy to oblige. Generally a good sign you're dealing with a legitimate seller.

            • @Arty.R: Good to hear. One note however, the seller in the OP is SwiftOrder ($30.37 - which doesn't seem to be available anymore / sold out since last night?). Veloreo is $36.49. Did you purchase from SwiftOrder or Veloreo?

              • @itsDANNY: @itsDANNY Sorry, you're right. The invoice is from Swift Order - Top Select Canada Ltd

                • @Arty.R: All good! Thanks for clarifying. Shame it's out of stock now.
