HTC Velocity 4G - 3G doesn't work with Lebara SIM

Hi there, I bought this phone from dicksmith online when it was 199 special. I'm using lebara sim on Samsung nexus and its working fine. Bit when I use this sim with my HTC velocity I can only make and receive calls and can't use internet or data. Tried what I could but no success. Could somebody help. Thanks

  Hi mate,

  If memory serves me correctly, Lebara uses the vodafone network?

  The HTC velocity has 2 different versions, a 2100/850 3G, and a 2100/900 3G

  Since vodafone's network in the cities is a combination of 2100 and 850, this version would be the better choice for better reception in the cities.

  However, in regional places, VF also has a 900 3G network, which is more suitable with the other model of velocity.

  Your phone is unlocked mate, if it works with lebara

  As snappy says enter lebaras apn settings

  If you google apn settings htc velocity all will be revealed
