28 Degrees Price Claim for Preorders

Hi guys
I have a 28 Degrees mastercard which I have used for claim for price drops for a few items including my note 2. I am thinking of purchasing a game (tales of xillia limited edition) with it and claiming for a price drop later on. However how does this work in relation to price drops since the period to claim is six months. You pay some of the money beforehand and the rest when the game is released. Where would the six month claim period be from. Could anyone who has done this clarify? Thanks.

    Im guessing that's what will stop you from being able to claim. Think it would have to be 1 charge

      Fairly sure this would be the case too. 2 separate transaction so how will they be able to recognise it as one and allow you to process a claim? Don't think it will work.

        That doesn't make sense, if you purchase 2 times in the same transaction you would have the same problem.

    Pre-order online, most stores won't charge until the transaction is completed.

    If you'd rather do it in a store, then pay a cash deposit then complete the transaction with the credit card.

    you have to submit a receipt with your claim, so whatever date is on the receipt is what they will use

    I tried with 28 Degrees last week regarding an airfare that I booked & paid for, and 48 hours later the price dropped by $150. They declined, saying that airfares are among the exclusions of the facility! First time I'd ever tried claiming, so I'm slightly jaded….
