Hey all, new to this website and would like to say I think it's an awesome place for people to get some good deals and chat about what's going on in the world of retail.

I would like to offer this luxury replica designer 'La Chaise' Originally by Charles and Ray Eames as a FREE GIFT to one lucky winner as retribution for getting off to a poor start on OzBargain this week.

If i could post a picture here then I would but you can either Google it or look at the banner I uploaded to the website www.primaluce.com.au to view the item. All I ask is that you be kind enough to fill our the news letter sign up as the bottom of the page so we have your details to pick a winner. We won't spam you or send out emails everyday, this is about giving the chair to a genuine deserving winner however, you will be added to the monthly mail out in which you can unsubscribe again the day after if you chose to.

The winner will be drawn at random on the 30th April and notified on here. No scam, no fixes, no dirty tricks! A genuine winner will be selected from the signup!

A number of online retailers sell this product for over $1000 so it's a pretty good score for one of you!

**Please note that we expect the winner to come and collect this product or arrange your own transport. It is packed in a large wooden crate ready for shipping and is 100% brand new!

Good luck guys and I hope this is my first small step to becoming a loyal member on here!

  • Cool just signed up.

  • just googled it, can't believe it's just a chair. looks plastic even though I'm reading its made of wood!
personally don't think it's worth the price no matter what it's made off.

I thought i'll be more like an office leather type, which is much more comfortable.

I think this is the type of competition that you need obtain permits for.

    Eg http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/Businesses/Advertising_and… for NSW etc.

Not every state/territory requires them, but unless you exclude these areas then I suspect another set of consumer laws are being flexibly applied.

  • Great, entered. Big fan of Eames chairs - just never had the money for the 'better' ones.

  • So who ended up winning?

If you still want to give away the chair - I would dearly love to give it to my hard working fiancee who is also my carer - I have ehlers danlos syndrome after moving house am even having trouble typing this - She has to do just about all of it as well as cook and help me dress, get me anythin i need to eat/drink/take drugs/blow my nose - some days help me do a lot more that proly doesnt need to go here. pretty sure she would love something that funky in her study room, brighten up her private chill space. Know I am probably way too late but worth a yell.
