Got this email 8 days ago:

Dear Valued Customer,

Our records indicate that you ordered customized USB Flash Drives from us recently. Unfortunately, we have learned that a small percentage of the USB drives were faulty and did not meet our quality expectations. Even though only a small percentage of the USB drives in our inventory exhibited these problems, we recommend that you discontinue use of the USB drives immediately and dispose of all of them appropriately.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause you and would like to assure you that product quality and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Vistaprint. We can also advise you that we have rectified the problem and have taken measures to ensure this issue does not occur again.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact one of our Customer Service Representatives on 1800 021 631 (Monday - Friday 8:00am-10:00pm). We look forward to continuing to serve you as a valued customer in the future.

Kind Regards,

Additionally, we have discovered a small amount of the drives may have pre-existing files on them, some of which could potentially be harmful to your computer.

    nice! preloaded with malware

i just tested one and it appears to be blank and writeable

do we get credit if we received them for free?

  • They sent me an email saying they dont work. That was it. I said so is that it just throw them in the bin?? Then they send me a $9.00 voucher.

  • Yes I received the same email. Haven't actually gotten around to using the USB, and now I guess I never will.

Kind of strange they are not offering a replacement. Is it because they know we got them as a free promo, or did the paying customers receive the same response?

  • i received this but have already been using it, there was no mention of a potential virus in the email i received?!?

  • Vista print sent me a letter in the mail saying the same thing.

    Wonder if it was malware?
