Refurbished Corsair Voyager USB3.0 Drives Via MyMemory UK - Starting from AU $12 (Post £2.63)

61

Not exactly the toughest USB drives around since the design is quite poor and prone to breakage… but if you're only going to use them around the house (e.g for game consoles / HTPC) then this might be an OK purchase. Despite the build quality issues, these are fairly fast drives (especially the GT versions, according to Newegg reviews and might be suitable for media consumption ( i would probably not use it for work).

    Includes free photos and videos….

  • 64GB all gone unfortunately!

    • Updated. The smaller capacities are still in stock it seems.

  • Thinking of buying one of the survivor usb drives, would this type of thing be worth it with things such as Drop-box and cloud storage being the future

    • +1

I dunno about you, but my workplace insists on blocking dropbox, and other 'cloud storage' services citing the need for extra security.

      • True, my work currently allows it, but I have lost a USB in the past it works out to be 30 dollars for the Corsair 32GB Survivor USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Refurbished - $26.96 delivered

  • Great bargain…. only thing is data recovery cost me $315 given that this USB failed bad time. Avoid buying unless you backup data every day.

    • +1

Who would put mission critical data on a USB without any backup anyway ?
A lot of people learn it the hard way, unfortunately…
I have three copies of all my data, including one offsite (cloud)

      • So you back up your USB drives every time you save a file to it/ or you carry 2 usb's around and double save? Great idea. A file was transferred at work and brought home and the thing failed. These Voyager ones fail bad time as compared to any other US drive out in the market. I have never had such problems before. Google Corsair Voyager problems and you will see what I mean.

I purchased 3 x BRAND SPANKING NEW Corsair 32GB Flash Voyager USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Red Colour)from a reputable online Retailer in the last 2 years & all failed within the first 12 months. To get a refund I had to return to the Manufacturer & NOT the Retailer. This was a torrid & frustrating exercise with numerous emails & threats………….. BEWARE OF REFURBS……… some may be ones that I returned & have now recirculated.

    Avoid. It will fail.
