  • What is the size like? I mean are they the same size as you normally take?

  • is there anyway to get affordable ultra low safety shoes like Aimont, CAT, etc brand?

      Hey!
I do not think there is a point in going top brand unless you work in very tough conditions and for a long time. Steel cup shoes tend to be heavier than composite and more expensive ones. Although I find these shoes light compare to Kmart cheapies.
      Consider Mongrel brand http://www.workwearhub.com.au/mongrel-black-hiker-shoe-29008…
My dad use it every day and he likes them.

  • For someone who just wears these steel cap boots, your knowledge on this subject and the promos of this business really amazes me. Thanks for signing up to share :)

    • I know I am new here to post but I like to research before I buy hehe

      • They are actually steel 'capped' not cupped and are usually referred to as 'T' boots. I very much doubt they are trades quality but probably good enough for the home handyman. Thanks for posting.

        • Not sure what the right Australian Standards codes are, but according to the website these shoes:

          "Meets Australian Safety Standards AS/NZS2210"

        • Trades quality because it is good enough to be at the construction site. Lightweight and comfortable which most cheap ones are not. But like I said above for long hours and heavy duty use better spend $100+ on Mongrel etc.

When I read steel 'cup' rather than 'cap' I thought it must be protecting another sensitive body part…

    • Thanks - edited :D

There's also the Bata branded ones for $10 less on the site.

    • I think Bata Industrials brand is not a good quality like Mack but if someone has positive feedback then I can add that too.

  • I hope size 4 is small enough for my sister. She wants steel cap boots for her animal vet stuff XD

  • Just got mine. Smerch is spot on. These are pretty good. Normally I would Redback or Blundstone Boots.
