I want to make honeycomb and people say you should invest in one for about $10! Where is a place I could get one? I have no idea where to go to find it.
Where could I get myself a candy/sugar thermometer?

Don't do it on a wet/humid day!
The $3 cooking thermometers like meritline and tmart occasionally offer here are what I use. Certainly under $5 on ebay.
There are ones that clip to the side of the pan, but I find you get better results measuring the middle.I have found www.everten.com.au or www.kitchenwaredirect.com.au to be very good depending on what you need compare the two.
