      Is not a deal, it's more expensive than the market price of $5 a glass.

      If you look just about anywhere $5 is common.

    I bought the 370ml ones for my parents, and it looked like my dad micro cracked one while stirring his coffee, the crack became obvious when my mum washed it and it leaked. I've heard my dad stir before, its not aggressive just a tink tink tink.. Some what disappointed. Still nice cup but disappointed as I'd bought more than I/we need as I'd thought they'd be more robust.

        If they are that sensitive, would it then be appropriate to put them in to the dishwasher? Is it a common issue, or one bad batch?

          I've put mine through the dishwasher on everything from delicate to heavy cycle and never had a problem. They are fairly lightweight, so make sure they are not going to be subject to movement from the force of the water and you should be fine. Top shelf if possible.

    Bought a couple of sets, the 250ml Latte ones and the bigger 650ml ones for beer - will see if it keeps it as cold as a standard stubby holder - this could be the way forward! And you can get 2 bottles in one glass! Happy days!

    I bought a set from the last promotion. The space inside the double walls is not vacuum, so it doesn't insulate heat as well as I expected. Certainly better than regular glass though.

    I bought two sets of these last week - they are really good. So lightweight yet quite strong and resilient.

    I had a Lindt coffee at their cafe yesterday and they use Bodums - these Avancer's are exactly the same quality. Worth the splurge. Thanks rep :)

    Anyone that missed out, I was at Hotel Agencies in Nicholson St (Melbourne) yesterday buying glasses for my bar. They had all sorts of these vacuum glasses and they seemed about $6 for tall glasses and less for latte and macchiato glasses. I was considering getting them for the bar, but too many punters will knock them off. Had a decent range.

    The quality isn't as good as I expect either. Ordered 2 sets, 450 ml has 1 glass with the bottom of the outerwall not flat and wobbles every time i put it down on my table. Same thing for the other 1 of the 650ml i bought. Decided not to give them away to save me from embarrassment.

    Yeah I'm having quality control issues as well, all 4 glasses seem to have a defect at the bottom where it seems there is a trapped bubble of air which makes the bottom uneven\un-uniform. I'm guessing that such a defect would also lower the material's strength hence causing them to fail (break\crack) earlier than expect.

          Yeah mate. All of mine have the same, its removable for whatever reason. Assuming it has something to do with the manufacturing process of placing one glass inside the other.
