  Don't bother with these…bought one before and failed within two days. I returned it to the store for a full refund.

    You've never had a product fail and had its replacement last for years, I have many of times.

  Great value, much more powerful than the cheaper options, and more importantly, much quieter. I use mine every morning for a breakfast shake, doesn't wake up the family.

    I've had one of these for about a year, it works great. Dunno about quiet though.

    Also, it's choice recommended.

    EDIT - mine also failed and I had it replaced, the stick mixer would not stay attached to the motor unit. The new unit is fine, for the price it is worth the hassle of returning it if necessary.
