In the market for a PC monitor

Hey guys,

Looking for recommendations for a good quality monitor. Ideally i'm looking for one that hits the "sweet spot" in terms of price and reliability. HOWEVER if there is one on a massive special bargain, i would love that too :)

I use the monitor for gaming, shows and movies.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

  • Pretty much any 1920x1080 LED monitor. After this there is a huge jump before you get something much better and if you don't have specific requirements just get the cheapest 1080 monitor you can find. Don't be tempted by huge either - that just means biger pixels.

I have one of these and it is an incredible monitor. Mine had no dead pixels with a slight bit of blacklight bleeding. This is the best seller of these 2560x1440 resolution korean monitors it is up to you if you would want to take the risk. That said this seller offers free replacements for DOA and fixes for other problems. The displays are actually the same as the $1000 Apple cinema displays!

  • Thanks guys for your response. B-prince, did you order that off eBay from GB? If there is a problem with the monitor does that mean you have to send it back to get it fixed?

    • That price is just in pounds but it is shipped from South Korea. If there is a problem generally they will try to see if it is a simple fix first that you can do from home, if it isnt then they pay for return shipping and will ship you another monitor (if this is soon as you recieve it) or they will fix it and send it back. This particular seller is the best for these monitors from what i have read on various forums. They reply to all emails within 24hrs in my experiences.
