Brisbane accommodation in November

Took advantage of the $10 flights when Tiger had them for sale and got the price beat with Jetstar for $9 each way from Melbourne - Brisbane. Going to Brisbane with the family (3 couples). We will be there for 5 nights, 20th to 25th November. I am guessing that the first test Ashes cricket start around those dates. So, we are planning to go for a day or 2 of cricket as well. Did a bit of a search of Airbnb as well but couldn't find anything close to Gabba (the stadium where the cricket is being played) and the city. Ideally we would like a 3 bedroom apartment or a house to relax and enjoy the holiday. If you think the hotel option would be cheaper, I will be happy to consider that as well.

    I have friends came and stayed in an apartment which seems extremely close to the Gabba.
    They were in a one-bedroom unit, with cooking facilities.

    Cant quite remember the name, but after goggling, I suspect it was Gabba Central Apartments, 803 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba, Brisbane, QLD.

      Thanks mate. I have already looked at this property but it is super expensive around the dates I want because of the Ashes test cricket match starting from 21st November. So, was wondering to see if there is a cheaper option out there. Thanks again.
