Hitman Absolution Digital Edition Free for Play Station Plus Members.

For those who haven’t purchased Play Station Plus membership yet, this might be just the excuse. For those who don’t know what PlayStation Plus is, a brief break down…you pay a quarterly or annual fee for access to games they post. Apparently it’s your for free as long as you keep your subscription paid. They add new games all the time. But if you let your subscription expires you lose them and have to start your collection again. Info here- https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-au/home/games/psplus

Update- Apparently you don’t lose your games they are just frozen until you re-subscribe. (never tried)
Have fun.

Free games come every month with a subscription, but always running so not a bargain?

A bargain would be when they have the:

    • 20% off the 12month subscription
    • 15 months for the price of 12

Both of which happen on a regular basis.

    May Content:

    • 1st May: Hitman Absolution (PS3)
    • 1st May: Catherine (PS3)
    • 1st May: Malicious (PS3)
    • 8th May: Sine Mora (PS Vita)
    • 15th May: Velocity Ultra HD (?)

Correct, discussed many times, although PS+ represents a great bargain itself, even at full price, the free games it offers can't be considered a bargain themselves.

15th May: Velocity Ultra HD (PS Vita)

      • That's what I thought, but I expected this post to end up being removed so I didn't bother confirming :)

    Should be moved to forums.

    • exactly.

Yeah this shouldn't be posted. Otherwise you'd be posting 5+ games a month. If the subscription is on sale then that is a deal :)

  • "But if you let your subscription expires you lose them and have to start your collection again."

i thought you could still play the games you downloaded previously once you renewed your membership?

      That is correct.

Yep, OP info is wrong. You do not lose your collection, it simply is frozen until you re-sub.
