I was looking for a toothbrush for my mum for mothers day and did some research on my lunch break yesterday.
I decided on the Oral-B Professional Care 1000 Power Toothbrush.

Enough of my life story. Here is what I found.

Myer had it for $119 or $89 after cashback.

The Shaver Shop had it for $119.95 or $89.95 after cashback.

Target $149.99 or $119.99 after cashback.

Big W wins. Even with no cashback, Still a decent price for $89 BC. There were 4 left when I went to the Phoinex WA store (and made it out alive). Or you can pay $15 delivery which is a bit pricey.
I believe you receive the money in the form of a cheque within 60 days.

Here is the form you need to submit to get the $30 back. Target had the forms on display for customers to take, where as none of the other shops did.

The promotion also applies to the following products which must be purchased on or between 1st March 2013 and 12th June 2013:

$50 Cashback on:
Triumph with Smartguide IQ5000
Triumph with Smartguide IQ5000 Dual Handle
Professional Care 4000
Trizone 3000
Professional Care 3000
Professional Care 3000 Dual Handle

$30 Cashback on:
Professional Care 500
Trizone 500
Professional Care 1000
Pulsonic

Unfortunately no freebie+profit to be had like the early days of this router deal at DSE a few days ago.

  • Wouldn't it be $59 after cash back?

Also, the ProfessionalCare 500 is around $40 after cashback…is the 1000 worth the extra $20?

    • Correct! Thanks and fixed. Excuse my stupidity

  • There was an interesting piece last night on The Checkout about cashbacks. What a pain they are.

    • Personally, I think cashbacks are the awesomest things ever. For one reason: tax. On tax-deductible purchases, cashbacks provide some astonishing discounts in after-tax dollars.

EDIT: note, I haven't yet found a way to deduct toothbrushes :)

    • We brought the package early this year as a part of Christmas promotion. We claimed $50 cashback and never receive the money until now.

Just rang them and found out that they never receive the claim. Can we resend the claim? No. What can we do? nothing! Where can we complaint? Nowhere!!

Very angry now and will never even buy their products again!

BTW, Oral-B use an agent to deal with the claim. How can we know whether the agent took our money?

      • I lodged my cashback in december last year aswell.. had to call up every week for 8 weeks and finally got it in the mail last week. they kept saying its been posted out this week or sometimes they said there was a problem with issuing the prepaid gift cards. lucky the number was 1800.. !

      • I would definitely resend if I were you. How the hell do they know you submit it for the first time?

        • Yeah make sure when you send these cashback offers you require a signature through Australia post or they will just try and rip you off and say they never received it.

  • +3
    • hahahah, awesome product title

  • can i buy online and collect at store?
