  • Truly is a bargain!
Though I wonder what the quality is like..

    • I also like the sound of "in home warranty" which I guess means it's an on-site waranty for a year.

      • even if it doesn't say "in home warranty" warranties for LCD/Plasma's are "in home" especially for the bigger sizes 32" plus.

  • Considering HN was selling the old LG 32" (HD tuner, 1366 res.)
LCD for $788 negotiable (IIRC), this seems okay, but I'd like some advice from OZb people about the product.

Where would we find head-to-head tests? UK TV buyer mags/online? Surely Aldi TVs like this would be in Euro consmer mags?
    Looking for a bedroom TV…

    Cheers,

    • Yes, to be honest I think you'd be better off finding a bargain on a well known brand like samsung at around the same price or even cheaper.

I can't comment too much on the specs except that they don't all look like they sound.

And yes 15kgs is fairly light in my opinion.

  • +2

Mate it's Aldi, you have 60 days to try it. If it doesn't stack up take it back for a full refund.

  • ALDI?

Yeah that sounds reputable. Even if it were selling for $500 dollars this wouldn't be a bargain. This thing probably comes loaded with dead pixels and fizzles out after 6 months.

  • I paid $850 for a Sony 32" could of gotten a Samsung or LG for $800. So yes a DVD player as well which worth $30 if it plays divx. $650 might be worth it $750 just getting close to name brands for me
