      is it not the same thing? there's a common saying… "buy one get one free". ours is simply, "buy x, get y free". if you're not happy with the wording, i'm sure the majority of posts on Ozbargain would drive you crazy :)

      Hi gooddealmate,

      Eurodrinks is selling 330mL cans. This is a 500mL can, RRP $7.99 per can.
      Beers Direct are offline at the moment, so I can't comment there.

      At the end of the day this is the retail price… doesn't change the fact you're getting 24 x 500mL cans for no charge with only a 1 case (6 bottle) purchase.

        Dont' get me wrong, it's a great deal, but please don't try to pull the wool over our eyes by inflating the RRP, if no one else sells this at $190 a case, it would not make sense to base the value of it at that.

        As Ryang mentioned above, when would you ever buy a case of alcohol with no saving compared to the single unit cost.

        My local IGA sells the cans (yes, 500mL) for $3.92, and I usually think they're overpriced as hell.

        It seems very few pear ciders get good results on that site, perhaps due to the beer orientation.

        For example, this is a comparison with one which more here would be familiar with. This is rated even lower.

          I'd suggests it's more because none of these 'pear ciders' are anything close to either of those 2 words. Both Kiss and Rekorderlig are pear-flavoured alcoholic beverages.

          Kind of like trying to find a favourable review of 'fruit drink' on a fruit juice rating site.

    Hmm, looks like a good deal overall, and you get a + from me, but partner and I can't stand pear cider! :( Might have risked it with any of the other flavours….

    +1, Ordered. But a request please about a pet peeve, namely: Do not ask for my full date of birth. You don't need to know it. It's used by my bank/super/stockbroker/etc to help verify my identity, and as such I consider it need to know information. In my case, the year alone (which by itself I am happy to give during registration where there is a clear reason for asking, such as buying alcohol) is more than sufficient to see that I'm well and truly more than 18 years of age. Furthermore, at the last stage of the checkout, I have to tick a separate box that says "I verify that I am over the age of 18", so it just seems completely redundant.

      Regarding the DOB/age details, we'll definitely take your comments into account. I think it's actually a default setting with our template and too many t&c's never hurt as it protects us and yourself for legal reasons, especially for this product type.

      hi fm… the guys here recommend the Rusty Coonawarra Sparkling Brut Cuvee if you're after something a little fruitier and crisp - not sure how sweet you like it.

      If it's full flavoured seafood like shellfish then try the Private Selection Hunter Valley Blanc De Blanc. Else if it's fish and other seafood, our recommendation is either the Gunn Estate Sparkling Sauv Blanc or the Tokoeka Sparkling Sauv Blanc.

      YES for sure… and save $8.00! Just choose pickup when checking out - we're located at 120 Gipps St, Collingwood (corner Hoddle), can't miss the warehouse. If you know when you want to pick up, just leave a note when checking out… else someone will contact you to organise a time.

    Got mine yesterday. Cider is inoffensive, as with all pear ciders (and pears themselves) it doesn't have a strong flavour but it also doesn't fall into that concentrate+ethanol flavour the bad ciders do. Yet to try the bubbly.
