      a lot of such sticky pads can do that… really.

      what happens afterwards is the key problem. ;)
      eg:
      will it leave a sticky residue?
      will dust settle on it and render it useless?
      is it washable and still retain the stickiness?
      will the 'adhesive' mark the item you stuck onto the mat?

      etc.

      at aud1.00 I will take that chance… can't find the same thing for the same price in our 'dollar' shops in Oz.
      pity.

          I've clicked on this thread late, but I'm inserting this comment high in the thread for a reason.
          Buyincoins were giving - very possibly identical ones - away recently as free gifts for orders over $10. I have a couple.
          They 'do the job', but just be aware (and yes, I know that this applies to lots of stuff) that the fumes that come off this flexy/sticky stuff coming out of China are pretty bloody disturbing.
          Leads you to wonder a bit.

        i have. they're actually quite amazing! can hold thing almost vertical, if not vertical. not sure about corners but i suspect if it can hold items vertically, it would hold things even better going around corners

        edit: no sticky residue unless that's what you're into?! doesn;t feel sticky at all

        I've got one in my car from about a year and a half ago. I cut it down to about 1/2 the original size to fit just under the DVD player console area. It holds my iphone 3GS perfectly still around corners, over bumps etc etc. It actually is fairly sticky when it's got a grip on the phone. But it won't leave any sticky residues on the phone. Mine's old and still works fine. However the varnish on the back of my phone has started flaking off. Not sure if this is due to the constant use or just simply age.

        I got 2 of these. Will last me years! :D

        I've been using these for about a year and a half and they work great. After a month or two they'll collect dust and will need to be washed. Through time it'll also lose it's stickiness and will become almost unusable (about 6 months).

        I would also advise against this size and get the bigger one instead, you'll fall in love with these things because they're really handy. I've currently got one of the bigger ones on the dashboard of my car which I use to hold my regular eye glasses my sunglasses, I also chuck my phone on it when I'm too lazy to dock.

        Sorry for any typo's on this, used my new vivo tab;)

    Damn. I ordered the same thing from Kogan two weeks ago. Paid $9 for a set of 3. This is a much better deal. And the pad works!. But the stickiness drops as more dust settles on it.

    these look the same as the ones buyincoins were giving away with purchases not so long ago. They actually do work (which surprised the hell out of me), avoid large potholes though ;) and they do loose their sticky as dust settles on it, but you can wash them. No residue, its silicone.

      So long as the items you stick on it aren't too heavy, they'll stay.

      Anything heavier than an iphone for e.g won't stick. But as the plastic ages / or bakes under the sun it will lose it's stickiness.

    This product is really crap. Basically it has a layer of non drying adhesive on one side. If you leave it out in the sun too long, as you do, it will melt and sludge. It leaves marks on your dash and wind screen. It leaves marks on whatever device stick to it. It attracts dust, tremendous amounts of it. I bought 2 of these things a few years back, and were the worst things I ever used. Buy beware.

    I just bought these a month ago, definitely does not hold things vertically. Ok when horizontal to prevent glasses from sliding off. N only works if the surface is absolutely smooth!

    Always wanted to try these pads since I saw http://imgur.com/gallery/D6kkUL1 but those are is £9 each. Anyone have an idea if the strength between the pad in this deal and the brand in the pic are comparable?

        I did order the black. I am a medium, which is what I ordered and received. I used a tailors tape to measure myself. Turns out the length starts from the top of the elastic which sits just under the belly button. Regardless my wife who is a US small doesn't fit into them either.

Prior to your last email your comments were rude and patronising and in no way were you doing your best to 'solve the issue'. It seems it took a social campaign to humiliate you into action and even then nothings been done but empty words. How about we bring this issue to an end when you have brought it to an end.
