Woolies micro-sim

I've tried a couple of woolies and none of them have a micro-sim in stock :( I've then tried to cut down my normal sim to turn it into a micro-sim but I've wrecked it.Does anyone know where I can find either a micro-sim cutter or somewhere where they will cut it for me? I'm in parkdale, vic.
Thanks,
v
Edit: Snappy1234 saved the day:) He suggested using an optus micro sim instead. The beauty of this solution is that optus micro sims are available EVERYWHERE!!! Thanks Snappy1234.

  • Phone stores may do it for you. If you are using a particular network, perhaps try one of their stores if close. Not sure if they cut them or just replace them, but worth a phone call at least to enquire? I got mine changed some time ago and from memory they gave me a micro sim, though I was on a plan with them. (I bought a new phone and my old sim did not fit)

    • I'm using a woolies sim card. As far as I know, the only place they sell woolies sim card are woolworths stores,I've tried 4 today and none of them have the micro sim ones

      • I presume that this is a prepaid sim and you retain the same number and sim and just top up credit as required? If that is the case and they are on the Optus network, surely one of the Optus stores would happily swap it to a micro sim for you?

    @ Wicket…
    Tell you a trick wicket…get a optus microsim yes i know but it's woolies…no matter !
1.log into your account on the optus/woolies website (if you have more than one number with them select your woolies one to add the new sim card to.
    2. look for sim replacement on the right hand side under "quick links"
    3. fill in the info in that section called "Activate replacement SIM"
    4. it should only take a minute to propagate thru the system
    5. stick your new Optus sim in your phone and you will be right to go. (all your existing credits etc- stay as they are too)

I have done this before that's how i know this…

Yes you can use the $2.00 sims from newsagents/petrol stations too
