Now ZOPO has launched its first Aliyun OS Smart Phone, ZOPO C2. It comes with MTK6589 Cortex A7 quad core 1.2GHz for CPU, PowerVR SGX 544 for GPU. It has 1GB for RAM, 4GB for ROM(Support TF card up to 64GB extended).And the OS is Android 4.2. ZOPO C2 also supports Dual SIM Card(one Micro SIM card) Dual Standby. Meanwhile, 5.0 inch and 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD screen could make sure a good experience on enjoying movie and playing games. Of course, it is built in with WiFi, bluetooth and GPS.       NB: although this phone is cheaper, unlike the item first listed this one has only "3G: WCDMA 2100MHz" - no 850MHz or 900MHz, making less useful as a 3g phone in Aus.

      You are right, the price is "too good" for its specs. I wonder why. Can't be a bargain as it is a pre-sale and 1080P is fairly new. I just bought a 5.8" quad core 1GB/8GB 1280*720 and can't be happier.

          Its a STAR N9589 Quad Core 1GB/8GB JB 4.2.1 for $230 delivered from ebay. Could have bought it for $215 delivered from aliexpress with Kingston 32GB micro-sd card thrown in but their payment system really sucks. I got fed up so I just bought it from ebay. I got it a week ago and it is amazing. Using Telstra sim and 3G works really fast. This phablet is well supported (elsewhere called Ulephone) with different versions of custom roms. I like it big so suite me fine.

      It's also 70g heavier, a whopping 224g vs 154g for the ZOPO C2. Also no wireless N support. For many potential customers, they are probably more deal breakers than the battery capacity and the price difference.

    Isn't the N003 with a smaller battery and the optional extra 3000mAh battery? Specs weren't clear on the page.

    If not a fan of these largish 5" phones, consider the 4.5" 1280x720 cheaper alternatives:

    AU$180 4.5" XYZ/Microcosm X1 135x68x9mm. Dual-sim, 1800maH battery. Supports 850/2100Mhz (good for Telstra/Voda.. Optus would do single-band 2100Mhz 3G).

    For the love of god don't get a 4GB ROM phone.

      That's right! You only end up with 1GB memory left to store your apps.

      Add on sdcard won't help much.
