Hey guys! I am looking at getting a tablet! Just wondering if my choices above are any good! at this stage I am leaning towards Xperia Z tablet but i am more than welcome for any recommendations..

Yep, considering I just bought one, I'll vote for the Nexus 10. :) I'm a fan of the pure android experience and the huge community support that comes with the Nexus family. Also the screen on the Nexus 10 won it for me.

I am just wondering Galaxy Note 10.1 3G from Kogan, we can use as a phone or should is the 4g LTE one better?

yup i got one. and yes u can use it as a phone. but i would not recommend it. it lags like hell and the respond time is really bad.
My friend has also got Note 10.1 3G and I also notice a lag while running apps. I am not sure why as specs wise it is 1.4 Quad core
Thanks. Didn't know there was lagging behind the note 10.1 might play the waiting game and wait for a new note 10.1 as the pen plus multi screen really tempts me!
Is it just the 10.1 3g lagging or the WiFi one? Does the 4g lag as well?
Not sure about the 4G one. I would suggest you to give it a try in JBhifi display model and see, if it works fine. I tried today and it was fine. Not sure why my friend's one is laggy. I tried opening Google maps through Wifi and it was struggling to open up quickly. Lag was noticeable.
Personally I would recommend to get the Wifi one, if you have a smartphone with hotspot. Spending extra $100-150 and an extra Sim is not worthwhile in my opinion. That said, it is my perception.
It's Nexus 10, not Galaxy Nexus 10. That would be my choice as it has the best cpu, gpu, speakers, display and direct updates. Next would be the Xperia Z tablet as it thin, looks great, and well built. It's dust and water resistant, display resolution is decent, has microsd slot and radio.
