Hello.

We are writing to notify you that we are terminating the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement with you with immediate effect. Your Associates Program account will be closed and you will not receive further payment of advertising fees. We have taken this step because you are not in compliance with the Operating Agreement that governs your participation in the Associates Program.

You are not in compliance with Participation Requirement 1(https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/oper…) because your site is unsuitable as it contains sexually explicit material.

You can find the complete terms of the Operating Agreement and its Schedules via this link: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement.

We insist that you immediately stop this activity and remove all Amazon content, including Special Links, from your site(s). Any other accounts you have or may open in the future may be closed and you will not receive any advertising fees. We reserve all other rights and claims we may have.

  • Do you have any enemies who know about your operations? It's pretty easy to lodge a complaint about sexually explicit material to Amazon. They're likely to shoot first and ask questions later!

    • No. nobody really knows what the blog url is ,and the affiliate ID is mainly used here @ ozbargain

  • Warmest Regards…..

    Lovely.

The problem with these companies with no human face and are too big for their britches is that people still flock to them. I'm sorry, did I say this was a problem?

  • contact them and say someone may accidentally be using your affiliate link - show them where you use your link. they're pretty good to deal with

    • that's what I'm thinking, it may have been automatically indexed on a website that contains sexually explicit material

I've sent them an email this morning as soon as i received the email, will see what they reply

      • Yeah sometimes you'll find your affiliate IDs been used by scrappers who then bundled all their scrapped content into some questionable sites.

        • Thanks scotty
I sent them another email with a screen shot from my blogger account with the sites that have indexed my blog. I did notice some of those sites directing traffic to me where questionable.

  • I met this situation before, there are many reasons which lead to Amazon lock your Affiliate Account.as we know, the Amazon rules are strict than others, especially Amazon reviewing time, you should pay more attention to the product detail.
1.The imitation brand, you should be more careful when the reviewing time if your product is imitation brand.
2.Sometimes, Amazon would lock your account when you sell too much at the beginning. so you should have a good control it.
3.Maybe because the IP problem, you know, one IP one account.if your Ip is the same before
4.Or when you follow and upload other manufacturers product. you should pay more attention the message by Amazon, some manufacturers would complaint you infringement to Amazon, you can deal with on time.or it would lock your account.
5.Maybe you are unqualified in reviewing time, such as negative comment or others

You can ask Amazon the reason and you can appeal it. or you can open a new account.
