Best Point & Shoot for around $300-400

Heading to Sri Lanka in about 3 weeks. I had one of the Panasonic Lumix underwater cameras which carked it on a previous trip abroad.

I think I'll take my go pro for any water/action stuff… But I'd like to get a good quality point & shoot for the rest.

Any suggestions for the best around for around $300-$400 would be much appreciated!

I would recommend the Sony Nex cameras for quality.

You can probably pick up a cheap run out / eol model for $4xx

Canon S110? Kogan and Topbuy sell this under $300. I had a run with the older and superseded Powershot S95 which took excellent pictures and was pretty compact. The S110 is an improvement with built in wifi and a touchscreen.

Sony rx100, lumix lx7. Rx100 might be slightly above your budget. look for deals around. And rx200 is coming out soon but will cost much more
